Called Schomburg during the summer and they were out here the next day. Found the problem, which was extensive. They made arrangements to get the required units the very next day and they were here and put everything in. Fast service and they were in and out of here in one day. Very Satisfied. more

I had condensation leaking from my furnace. I had them come out three times costing $135, $225, and $90. They didnt fix the leak and the third time they pulled the condensation line out of the sewer drain forgot to reinstall it and flooded the house. The owner was rude and said they didnt do it and wouldnt even take off the last $90 charge. Guy came he wasn't very confident in knowing what was wrong with my washing machine he said well I think it is well I it might be yeah probably is the pump and then left with my machine still havIng water in it and me not able to drain it after he filled it up to test it..Man that'll be $91 for a service call I'm not really confident what was wrong with your machine but that'll be $91 RESPONSE FROM Schomburg Heating & Cooling: I spoke with the tech in question and he assured me that it is completely untrue that the machine was left with any water inside of the system. His original diagnosis was a communication error in the electronics system, but after several run cycles everything seemed to be working okay. It wasn't until they ran the unit with a test load that he determined that the system was spending too much time in the drain cycle and was due to the pump not running at full capacity. At the time the customer was informed that there MAY be more issues other than just the pump itself, which could be why she thought the tech was not confident in his diagnosis. Customer was given a price to replace the pump, which she declined at that time. more

Repairman was here in a very timely manner and performed professionally. My refrigerator has been cooling well ever since. more

My air conditioning went out late on Saturday night and my house was heating up fast. I called Schomburg and someone actually answered! I explained what happened and she said that someone would be in touch. Early Sunday morning I received a call from Dylan who said he would be right out. My air was fixed within the hour. Dylan was professional and explained what was wrong and what he did to fix the issue. I will definitely be using them in the future for my heating and cooling needs. Schomburg Heating & Cooling was helpful in terms of coming here and identifying the issue--and it worked out fine. We didn't know where to go after buying a heater/air conditioner new from one of big box stores. When we were referred to Schomburg, I called and asked them to come as soon as possible--and waited a day or two before they came out. He said next week, but they made it shorter after I said I needed someone. Schomburg is about 65 miles away from us, and I am giving them four stars only because they are too far away and not able to service us regularly. I was very pleased with the service. more

I first discovered Schomburg Heating & Cooling from online. They came out to do the spring yearly maintenance check up and the service was great. The technician was prompt, he was professional and he was friendly. What I like about this company is how they follow up with their customers by reminding them of their upcoming services; either they will call or send a reminder card in the mail. I also like how they are at least 35 miles away from us; however, whenever I experience an emergency like when the light went out that kills mold and mildew - Schomburg Heating & Cooling comes out immediately the next day to check it out. We just bought our house yesterday and are new to Saint Joseph, but we are hoping all of the companies here are as professional and efficient as this company!
