My experience with San Diego Auto Body was fantastic. I initially looked them up online and read their reviews. I called around to a bunch of places and got quotes from a lot of different people, but Tarek said he would beat the best quote. Tarek was very, very cooperative. The service was fast and everything went well. They replaced the entire front bumper and the shield that goes around the tire on one side of my car. It looks great. I picked up my car on time -- everything could not have gone more smoothly. more

The tow truck took my car to San Diego Auto Body. We tried to take it more locally, but they were closed. San Diego Auto Body was kind enough to wait for the truck to arrive. They were in constant contact with me and did a very nice job. It was my first time using them, and the service was good. I had no problems at all. I would definitely recommend them. God forbid I get into another accident, but if I do have one I would take my car there. more

San Diego Auto Body got me in right away and did what I needed them to do. When they were done it was exactly what I asked for. They just touched up some scratches with paint; it was a pretty minor job. The car looks great; it looks brand new. San Diego Auto Body did a wonderful job all the way around. They do good work, and the prices were right in line. The customer service was excellent. It was my first time using them. I needed an emergency tow, and the tow driver took me there as one of his preferred shops. I would never have found them otherwise. They actually use environmentally friendly paint that is water based. They are a very environmentally conscious shop. It will probably be in regulations in the future, but they are definitely anticipating it. The quality of work was excellent; I have no quarrels with it. They did more than I expected. more

It was nice dealing with San Diego Auto Body. They got the car back to me very fast, and the work was great. It wasn't major damage; the hood and the front bumper had some dents and needed to be repainted. I was most impressed by how well the paint matched because I have the Toyota pearl white. I had originally intended to take my truck to another body shop and am very glad I didn't. I went online and read some great reviews about San Diego Auto Body and decided that based on what I had read, it was the shop for me. I have a 97' 4Runner that is my pride and joy. When it was damaged, I freaked out. Would it ever look the same? Nonsense, they made it look better than it was prior to my accident. They took care of me the moment I stepped in the door and never made me feel anxious or worried. They had my repairs done when they said it would be and I couldn't ask for more. If you value great service and pricing in an economy where people seem to be cutting corners, do yourself a favor and take your car to San Diego Auto Body. You'll be grateful you did. At first I had kind of a bad experience with San Diego Auto Body, but then they made up for it by really fixing the issue. When I initially came in with some body damage there were some hiccups with the insurance company. There were a couple of delays that were really outside of their control. A day or so after the car was finished I noticed that some of the paint work was unsatisfactory. I took it right back in to them, and they really jumped on board about the fact that it hadn't been done correctly. They brought their lead painter out, and he took responsibility. He let me know that they would fix the issue on their dollar or redo the entire thing at not cost to me. After they were finished I realized that they even touched up some spots other than those that were talked about for the original job. They also went above and beyond in detailing the inside of my car as well. They are definitely a trustworthy company that seems to stand behind their product. I had a hood replaced and repainted. The color match was good but it looks like they buffed or waxed the paint while it was still curing, so there are very long scratches in the fresh paint and maybe some wax. There are also some raised bumps where dust settled and was painted over. These things would be hard to see on a casual glance. But if you're looking closely or catch it in the right light, they're fairly obvious. I offered to pay to have them buff out the scratches and other imperfections (the initial price was so low). In person, they said they'd be happy to take care of it at no charge ... just not right then. I've since made two calls and sent an email -- all unreturned. This place is the BEST. I tore the bumper off my car and, after shlepping it around to body shops for quotes, eventually ended up here on a friend's recommendation. Not only were they the least expensive quote (by THOUSANDS, not just hundreds, of dollars), they pointed out repairs that were needed to my front end and my hubcaps and fixed those at no extra cost. I took my 07 GS there after someone had hit my front bumper and ran...the damage was pretty significant and after calling up Diamond, I knew I was in the right hands almost immediately. The manager of the shop is one of the most down-to-earth, and honest man I've ever worked with before (this is coming from someone that scrutinizes personalities, egos, and demeanors!). He asked me certain questions over the phone regarding the damage so that he could give me a correct estimate and even when I went there, he DIDN'T say, ""you need this done, this done and this done...and it's gonna cost you about $1000 more""....but he gave me an honest price without any deviance. The quality of the work was good and the paint job is excellent and matches well. I hope Diamond Auto body draws more customers in the near future as they are truly a worthy body shop. I will certainly tell all my friends that need any type of work done... more

I had a minor fender bender, but because Honda makes their bumpers out of plastic, I needed to get a new one. I dropped the car off Monday morning, and not more than 30 hours later the job was done and my car is back to beautiful. The paint is matched perfectly, and the alignment of the bumper looks better than it did before the accident! My car was washed, armor all'd, and vacuumed. They did a far better, and more thorough, cleaning job than the car wash that I usually go to. My car is beautiful and looks like new again! I love it! Thanks guys!! more

I went to Diamond Auto Body Repair for a bumper and side mirror repair after hearing good things about them. The professionalism and friendliness is magnificent. Their staff are friendly, attentive, professional and efficient. The manager personally came out to look at my car and fixed my broken sideview mirror while I waited which was no more than 5 minutes. Although the job was not big, they made me feel very comfortable and trusting. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business.....they are honest people, care about what they do and do quality work. more
