I have nothing bad to say about San Diego Auto Body! They are outstanding! I was hit, actually run off the road by another driver. They were covered by Allstate and when their agent came out to look at my van, they didn't even bother getting out of their car! They just sent it to salvage and totaled it at $3,500, which was a rip-off because right before my accident I had put exactly that amount into my 1990 van and it had been running great before I got hit! I called around until I found a good shop to take my van to. Everyone at San Diego Auto Body was very nice! They were able to fix my van for $1,800! It is beautiful! They did an absolutely fabulous job, and they are a locally-owned shop. Since my experience with them, I've referred a friend, and she had a good experience with them too. La Nette Dohrer more

This is the best auto body shop in the county of San Diego. I wasn't going through my insurance and planned to pay out of pocket. They gave me a competitive and fair quote, lower than the other body shops I went to. The work on my car was fast, done in less than a week, sooner than anticipated, and what a beautiful job!! My car looks good as new, and even the paint was perfectly matched. Oh, and it was also washed and vacuumed. Since this is a family owned business, they personally care for you and called me daily with an update. For the price and the work, this place should be rated #1 in San Diego. more

A friend of mine recommended San Diego Auto & Body Paint for my brand new Honda Civic who suffered some severe cosmetic damage. I took the car to the SD Auto Body in Escondido, and despite the businesses near by looked outdated, I was pleased to find out that the repair shop I chosed wasn't outdated at all. Customer service is a premium without the premium fee! After a few days with the car in the shop, I received a call and I was told that my car is done and ready to be picked up. When I arrived and seen my car I was really impressed of what a great job these guys did! I had some scrapes on the side of my car that I wanted repaired. I called San Diego Auto Body on a Saturday, and they were able to see me right away. They gave me a quote on the spot, which was very close to the final cost. They provided me with a very accurate timeline for the work, as well. San Diego Auto Body did an excellent job with the repairs--the car looks great. They also found me a great rental car through the agency down the street that they are partnered with. I was driving down to San Diego and I got into an accident. I was hit from behind. I did a Google search on my phone and San Diego Auto Body came up first. I called them and Tarek was very nice. He told me to come in right away. From there, everything went super fast and smooth. Everybody was very cool and friendly. These guys are not out to take your money. They are genuinely nice, helpful and willing to work with you. It was a good experience and if I was ever in the San Diego area again I definitely go back. more

It all started with a lady hitting me and breaking my rear bumper. An unfortunate accident, but s**t happens. The lady was very apologetic and decided to pay out of her packet. When my wife Yelped and found this place, I decided to give them a chance. I did due diligence and got other quotes, but none were better. During the estimate I got a feeling that these are very friendly and courteous people. That gave me the warm and fuzzy feeling that I will be taken care of. So I brought my car to this shop and I am glad I did. From the time of the estimate to the time I picked my car up, the service was great and they did a great job on my car. more

I had a AAA insurance claim and I was looking around for a collision center that I was comfortable with. San Diego Auto Body & Paint was amazing to me. They greeted me with a warm welcome when I walked in, they updated me throught the work was in progress with pictures of the repair and they did all the negotiations for me with AAA. My 2009 Mercedes E550 looked better then ever. The color match was perfect and I am still extremely happy of the final work completed. Their service included a full detail as well so my car was very very clean. I will recommend them to everyone I know including my family. more

I had a wonderful experience at San Diego Auto Body when I needed to get my driver side door and fender replaced, aligned, and painted. At first, I had decided to get multiple estimates from other body shops in the block, of which there are many. When I got to SDAB for an estimate they were very prompt, kind, and thorough. The estimate I got from them almost seemed to be too good to be true but was the best of my options. My truck is a 1981 Toyota Pickup with two-tone custom paint and I have to say that the blend and design was spot on. The fender also had to be repaired and repainted to match. You couldn't even tell that anything was different from before other than the fresh pieces being cleaner than the rest of the truck, but a car wash certainly took care of that. In addition to the great service and quality product (which comes with the lifetime guarantee), SDAB hooked me up with a free rental car for 3 days and a military discount. They also occasionally have coupons on their website for discounts and specials. One final note, when I went to pick up my truck, I thoroughly looked it through and noticed that one of my windows didn't align properly after having to change over the internal door compartments. I let them know and immediately they had a guy come over and realign the window until it was proper. SDAB seems clearly devoted to customer satisfaction and a quality product and that is exactly what I got. They are also interested in building lasting relationships with their customers and the environment there is definitely conducive to doing so. I would recommend them to anyone.
