We're never going back. This place attracts lots Asian families w screaming kids totally out control. Best just stay away.

The Best Thai food!!! 11/5/2005

Yesterday was my first time visiting SalaThai; my friends found this place from the argus newspaper; they were voted for the best Thai food in tri-city. This restaurant really deserve this award because the food was REALLY REALLY GOOD. Everything that we had order was awesome!!! Though they were busy, but their service was great. Our waitress gave us some recommendation of what to order. It was a great experience dining at SalaThai. If you wanna go to SalaThai, I recommend you to make reservation because we had to wait for our table. Pros: Great food, reasonable price, great service more

Numerous Better Options in East Bay 11/2/2005

Based on the favorable rating other users had given this restaurant my friends and I organized a group dinner. We ordered all the basics, satay and spring rolls as a starter, Pad Thai, each of the curry dishes, two noodle dishes, and pork fried rice. Most of the food was bland and lacked flavor, even the dishes that were ordered HOT lacked heat. At best, the food was average, most below average. Great, Real Thai food 2/21/2005

These guys do a great Job. They don't water down the curries like a lot of the thai places have started doing. Also they cook the food with species in it, not just throw some pepper on top. I would like recommend this place. Good Service. Very Attentive. very Clean. more

Best Fish Dishes 1/11/2005

I never really liked fish but their fish with garlic and peppers dish is FANTASTIC. The decor is a little homey, but it is a family-owned restaurant which means the customer service more then makes up for it. The roti for dessert is great, too.
