I am currently employed with this company and have been for over 10 years. I can honesty say I believe all these comments are true about the company with the exception of miss english,sus69,honeybee1,& happy employee I believe that these comments were written by home office themselves!!! For me the job is pretty easy, its having to deal with Mr. Belcher, Mr. Gentry & some employees of home office that makes it hard. The pay is pretty good & that is what keeps me here. Also I have been blessed with good area supervisors who I have to go thru instead of Hitler himself. And believe me supervisors get treated the same way like they are a piece of trash! Funny that I read on one of these reviews about Hitler because we call him the same name! There has been a couple of incidents where I have been sick & have asked to be able to leave early & have been told to go buy pepto bismol & put my head on my desk or why do I have to go home when I can just use the bathroom at the office. Also when my Grandma was on her deathbed we were told to get to the hospital asap as she was not gonna make it I was told If she was on her deathbed what was I gonna be able to do for her? Also time away for funeral? I think not! No matter how close the person was to you, You are allowed to get away for a couple of hours then return to work with you eyes & makeup messed up from all the crying you just did. There is alot I could write about but am afraid that they will know who I am & retaliate. My family continues to tell me that I need to quit or to sue them but I need my job & where I live there are not many jobs to chose from. Calling in is a huge NO NO your kids getting sick also a huge NO NO if your child gets sick they expect you to ask your sister brother or friend to take them to the Dr. as if its anyone elses responsibilty. If my kids get sick I have to ask my parents to take time off of their job to take them to the Dr. & I wouldnt even dare think of asking for time off to take myself to the Dr. In the past I have had to cancel so many appointments & change dr's so many times because I am embarrased to keep having to cancel. Also true is about vacations dont matter how long you have been with the company you cannot make any plans as you only get a tenative approval & have to re submit 3 days before it is time to take your vacation. I have never been able to book a trip ahead of time because of this therefore I end up paying a whole lot more! This company thinks that everyone is replaceable & everyone is but I dont know of many people who will stay working for them for very long in this town. I always laugh when someone new comes to home office because they are always so nice when they call & I know that within a month or so they will be acting like the rest of them. Most of them are rude and act like if they make no mistakes which is also a huge NO NO! They think we arent human everyone makes mistakes now & them I'm sure they do to! I cant wait til the day I can afford to quit & the day they rot in HELL! as I have been doing for many years now! lol more

I am currently employed with this company and am a little confused about the things that have been said here, I can only relay my experience with the company and I assure you it is not even close to the reviews I have read here. I personally have been treated with complete honesty and fairness. I can't think of one person, or company that is absolutely with no fault but I can tell you that if you work hard, are honest and strive to be professional, than this is a great company to work for. You will be compensated fairly, treated with respect and are given the opportunity to succeed in your career. This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. The employees were shady and I am not even sure if they had graduated from kindergarten. My 8 year old would have done a better job managing. I would NEVER recommend someone to use this company no matter how desperate they are. more

My first day both the manager and the collector both quit...I should have known right then to run. After two months of managing the store and turning a profit for the first time in 8 months I was moved to another store for more training, after 1 day of trainging to begin with. (the home office called and I put them on hold a huge no no) Second store was perfect loved my manager, loved my customers, and I was was still getting the same pay. They hire another person and now they could not afford me even though my manager was still making 4 grand in bonus checks. So one day our new regional manager comes by and asked to get into his truck he told me I had three choices: 1. Quit 2. Sell my house and manage the worst store in the state 3. Move to another store with either keeping my pay and going to part time or taking a pay cut and keeping my 40 hours. I was told I had to decide right then and there. I chose option 3 with keeping my pay. I still worked 40 hours a week but was only paid for 35, my manager showed up hours late, took a couple hour lunches, and slept in the back room most of the time. (I have pictures of this) The girl I worked with was high as a kite the whole day and often took naps or spent the day munching on something and I was the worker bee. While working for the corperation as a whole I learned that you do not have sick day. I have a double ear infection for 82 days went to the dr 3 times after hours and when refered to a specialist was not told that I could have the hour off until 2 hours before my appointment. I had the flu and was told to just sleep in the bathroom if I had to but I had to stay there at work. One of my managers had to leave to have emergency surgery...the home office called him at the hospital to see if he would be out to work the next day. My last straw was when I had scheduled a vacation a year in advance condo, air,ect and was told the week before I left that if I went I would not have a job to come back to. Needless to say I had a wonderful vacation. (When I came back from vacation I worked under that table because no one but me knew how to do all the legal work, this lasted until the manager threw a stapler at one of the collectors heads) I am still on the checking account for the company after numerous called to the stores and corp to take me off, sadly the bank can not do it without auth from the company. more

PART 1= I was hired as a MIT for the Rio Grande City, TX Branch 11/1/10. While I was being trained by some guy named Sixtos, I found the customer service procedures to be quite unethical. I listened to the calls being made by the two girls that were there before me and heard comments like ""why are you hiding""....... ""I'm going to go and take all your stuff""...... ""If you don't have money to pay your bills, how do you live?” I have never in my life heard anyone speak that was to a customer. Not only that but this so-called Supervisor told the girls to call ALL the numbers on the account and leave threatening messages. I was disgusted and vowed that things would change as soon as I took over. Mr. Sixtos leaves the store with a 37% slow file and as of 3/19/11 at 12pm; I got it down to 21.75%. I find this to be pretty amazing and so did my superiors. \r Here's the kicker, I had a new Supervisor named Bo Pena and I’ve noticed some weird stuff happening with the money from certain accounts so I took notes on a sticky note and dated the info 1/20/2011, the transactions were forged with my signature (a decent one but still forged) by Nancy, the girl that got hired 11/12/10. This was the first encounter. I let BO know. NO REPLY. Mind you this was by text cause that’s the form of communication he wanted at all times.\r Thursday, I had a very soar ear. I went to the doctor to get it checked and I had to do it during my lunch (I took about an hour). Of course the whole time I was out I was getting text messages from my employee Nancy, stating that she was starving and that she wanted me to come back so that she could go eat with her husband. A husband whom she cheats on and apparently hates. So, I finally let her know what I was coming back to the office cutting everything short. I called my supervisor on the way back and let him know that I needed to get some time off to go to the doctor the right way........... Next thing I know, I'm walking in to the office and Nancy walks out. more

FORST OF ALL LET ME SAY THANK GOD I DIDNT APPLY FOR THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. IM A CURRENT RESIDENT OF TEXAS BUT SOMEHOW MANGED TO HAVE SUPPOSEDLY A CIVIL CASE AGAINST ME IN THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO ... I WAS TOLD BY THE MAGISTRATE JUDGE TO CONTACT THE COMPAY WHICH FILED THIS CASE AGAINST ME I SPOKE TO MS WILES WHO HAPPENS TO BE THE SUPERVISOR THERE I ASKED TO SPEAK TO HER IMMEDIATE MGR. SHE WAS VERY BELLIGERENT TO ME AND REFUSE TO GIVE ME INFO I TRIED EXPLAINING THAT SHE NEEDS TO FAX THE CORRECT INFORMATION TO THE COURTSOF ALAMOGORDO SHE REFUSED STATED THAT IT WAS MY PROBLEM AND HUNG UPON ME..THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY EVER THANK GOD IM NOT A LOCAL OF ALAMOGORDO NEW MEXICO. I HAVE A LOT OF FAMILY IN NEW MEXICO AND TRUST ME I WILL TELL THEM ABOUT THIS COMPANY, I WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE STEPS FOOT EVEN IF I HAVE TO CONTACT THE NEWS CHANNELS .. I worked for Your Credit, Inc for exactly a year. Saying it was the worst place I've ever been employed is an understatement. I did feel a little bit better when the vice president of the company called me, while he was calling me a dumb *itch I had him on speakerphone while he was telling me that he was the most important thing at the moment and he didn't give a *hit about the customers. Our biggest account was there listening to how badly he chewed me out for running a report wrong. I also had to buy office supplies out of my own pocket, had broken down office furniature, and horrible working conditions. I had a major emergency surgery and was told that if I didn't return to work the next day I didn't have a job. My assistant manager lost her ENTIRE family in a car accident (we are talking her dad and 4 siblings, two of which were pregnant) and when I asked if we could send flowers as a company they told me ""she wasn't that important....she's only worked for us for 5 months."" Horrible heartless people who shouldn't be allowed to run a business. They are unethical and unprofessional. more

THIS PLACE WOULD HIRE ANYONE OFF THE STREETS, BECAUSE THEY ARE SO DESPERATE TO HIRE PEOPLE. THIS COMPANY HAS A HUGE TURN AROUND IN EMPLOYEES. IF YOU LIKE WORKING LIKE A MULE, THEN YOU WOULD LOVE WORKING HERE. THEY TREAT YOU LIKE HELL. JOB FROM HELL IT IS!!!! Manager Graciela Garza rude disrespectful, unprofessional, unhuman, and to top it off a 42 YR OLD SEXUAL DEVIANT!!!! Mr. LARRY YOUNG unprofessional,uncourteous and a potty mouth. After I left the company due to constant pain n anguish, a manager was hired for 1st Capital finance. she was a manager for 2 days! Mr. Young cussed belittled and disrespected new employee! Good thing she did not think twice of staying.He did this in front of the staff.I filed a grievance TWICE against the manager n instead of her getting disciplined as the dog she is we were told to sit down n work out our problems together.I was constantly harassed by the manager. Jose Olivares did nothing to help.second grievance he told me he did not remember me calling him to complain.LAWSUIT ALL OVER THIS COMPANY. They do not follow the labor laws. Investigation should be done ASAP. more

In reading some of your reviews I am amazed at how similiar the situations are to my own. \r \r My only suggestions... Watch your back. I was not employed in the great state of texas but with the company. Be safe, practice keeping notes and document dates, times etc.\r \r The job was outstanding and I do believe the company does provide a good product for those individuals that are in need of financial assistance. So I do think the company has something going for it. Just the way they treat their employees, not so good. more

I had applied to this company over a year before I was hired. They called me on a Friday and wanted me to come for an interview. I started on Monday. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! It was only part-time. I'm sure if I had not taken the job they would have turned me in and my unemployment would have stopped. I worked 3 weeks and got paid for 2. In the employee hand book, it says they don't hold back a week. And if you have a problem with your compansation not to return to work until it is resolved. I called corporate and spoke with Jose. He told me basically this is how we do business and I was not getting paid until Sept 27. At that time I will have worked 5 weeks and been paid for 4. I told him I would not be back to work per handbook until the matter was resolved. According to them I quit. I called the location I worked at to see about my check. They got checks I didn't. Call Corp not able to get past front desk. I called back work location advised, if not get check would be up there monday with police to get my check. The manager called the police and put trespassing charges againt my Husband and I. The Police Officer told me they had mailed my check. I advsied him if they had given me this information this could have been avoided. more

Yessss!!! the ladies are great they all are nice to each other. I know its amazing but get this, its the One old guy in the building... its the one we all call "" HITLER!! I came to work for this company with a very positive attitude and great experience. Those qualities are not what the people at this company want. I dont even think they know what they want. I would get specific but I would have to write a dictionary to cover all the wrongs in this place. Melissa is one cold something...something as in ""not human"". This company is one of the BEST companies i have ever worked at. The owner is just truly Amazing and caring, He honestly takes care of ALL his employees. I have worked in several departments of the corporate office and have helped out will many projects all the while being nicely rewarded for my hard work. One of my better experiences has been with Ms. Melissa she is a very dedicated employee and defiantly does her best to encourage others to be at their best. i am very happy working here and i can say that i am fortunate to have a place here. I was employed with a branch of Royal Management. IE:Gentry Finace, If you like being degraded, forced to treat customers and employees with dis-respect, and work for free..This is the job for you. Not only do you work the ""hours posted"" but also after hours and on Sundays...., YOU DO NOT LEAVE unless YOU MAKE A LOAN!! I have never worked for such a ignorant ruthless company in my life. I had a customer that was involved in a auto accident that took the life of her daughter and grandson, My customer was clinging toher life and I was asked to do whatever it took too collect on her account..., was even TOLD to go to the HOSPITAL and see if someone from her family would pay the account!\r This company has no respect for its Employees and especially its customers. Not only would i advise not working there but also not to become a customer all together. If the need arises to get a loan..., your better off robbing a bank. I worked at that place about three years ago, and it was such a nightmare. I can't believe that B____, Melissa still works there, but then agian she wouldn't last anywhere else with that flat a$$ and huge attitude. I have been here for several months now and i can tell you these things are not true. It's very professional, I think the people writing these things just don't want to work. If you work hard, you get raises and can even get bonuses. Would Defiinitely recommend if you want a place to work your way up. Pros: hard work pays off more

I worked for this company last year. Was terminated on 12/31/2009 for being stranded out of town due to the weather. I was supposed to have gotten my last paycheck 3 weeks ago and still have not received it. They tried to fight my unemployment and failed. I have called them numerous times about my check and they will not put me through to anyone. Their excuse is that payroll doesnt take phone calls. That is a crock of bs.\r I say we all need to file a class action lawsuit to let them know that we are not going to take their crap lying down. They do nothing but lie, cheat and steal. They need to be reported to the better business buerea and to the American Lending Association and whoever else needs to know how they are as a finance company and as a business in whole.
