My first day both the manager and the collector both quit...I should have known right then to run. After two months of managing the store and turning a profit for the first time in 8 months I was moved to another store for more training, after 1 day of trainging to begin with. (the home office called and I put them on hold a huge no no) Second store was perfect loved my manager, loved my customers, and I was was still getting the same pay. They hire another person and now they could not afford me even though my manager was still making 4 grand in bonus checks. So one day our new regional manager comes by and asked to get into his truck he told me I had three choices: 1. Quit 2. Sell my house and manage the worst store in the state 3. Move to another store with either keeping my pay and going to part time or taking a pay cut and keeping my 40 hours. I was told I had to decide right then and there. I chose option 3 with keeping my pay. I still worked 40 hours a week but was only paid for 35, my manager showed up hours late, took a couple hour lunches, and slept in the back room most of the time. (I have pictures of this) The girl I worked with was high as a kite the whole day and often took naps or spent the day munching on something and I was the worker bee. While working for the corperation as a whole I learned that you do not have sick day. I have a double ear infection for 82 days went to the dr 3 times after hours and when refered to a specialist was not told that I could have the hour off until 2 hours before my appointment. I had the flu and was told to just sleep in the bathroom if I had to but I had to stay there at work. One of my managers had to leave to have emergency surgery...the home office called him at the hospital to see if he would be out to work the next day. My last straw was when I had scheduled a vacation a year in advance condo, air,ect and was told the week before I left that if I went I would not have a job to come back to. Needless to say I had a wonderful vacation. (When I came back from vacation I worked under that table because no one but me knew how to do all the legal work, this lasted until the manager threw a stapler at one of the collectors heads) I am still on the checking account for the company after numerous called to the stores and corp to take me off, sadly the bank can not do it without auth from the company.
