Greetings to all, my name is Lou. I've been doing business with Rowan properties for over 10 years. You will not find a better property management company in northern California. Anytime I've ever needed any assistance with a unit or a maintenance issue, they have always gone above and beyond the norm, to help resolve the issue at hand. Their genuine concern for assisting me and others is outstanding, and second to none. I once had a leaky roof in the middle of raining season. They personally became directly involved with the new roof project with the contractor and owner ensuring that the tenants were being taken care of. Theres other examples of this fine company ... they are concerned with safety to all and have a wealth of wisdom when dealing all aspects of property management. If your looking for a company with strong management ethics, professionalism, exceptional/accurate record keeping, and integrity then Rowan properties is who you need to do business with. I am very happy, non stressed, feel at ease doing business with Rowan Properties. more

The business is very professional. The owner does treat others with respect, though he may seem a bit stern. There are rules that must be followed in property management, the owner is going to go though the right steps, not emotions. If you dont qualify because of bad credit or what-not, that is not his problem, its yours. He is a great property manager because I know he will always follow the law and keeps the units in great shape. I feel like the people that dont think this is a good business are just bitter about something, didnt get your way????? Like I stated before they are professional, very good if you're looking for someone to manage a property for you. more

The owner of this company is a complete joke! I can't believe how many properties they manage. Andrew, the owner, treats no one with respect once he gets that application fee. Talking to him about repairs to your rental unit is like pulling teeth. The unit I rented was really nice and clean- until I decided to finally use the fireplace and found a meth pipe in there. Save your money and don't apply to any of their listings! They care about nothing but money more

I agree with Rloulu review because the same thing happened to my daughter. The guy collected 2 application fees totaling $60 (applicant/ cosigner) She was told she was the first to apply... and a month or more later... still no answer. They were way more then qualified to rent the place. When she would call the office the guy was unreasonably rude. It seems like he rakes in as many ($30 a pop) application fees as possible and never bothers to check the references,, leaving the rentals empty for one to two months. This sucks if your trying to rent a place... and it really sucks if you hire him to manage your rental because he leaves the place empty $0 rent while he lines his pockets on bogus application fees! more

I turned in an application and 60.00 for a rental that I really liked. I didn't hear from these people until I called and asked what was taking so long. Each time being told that they were busy, over worked and understaffed. I continued to call and enquire as did my co-signer, someone very prominent in the city. Each time we were told they were understaffed. Finally, after 3 weeks I get a call telling me that I didn't get the place. When I asked why the guy was rude as hell!!! First he said it was my small dogs, I responded with, you told me I could have dogs. If you would of said no, I would have never paid the fee. Then he said it was my credit. I told him that I expalibned my situation before. that my husband died leaving me with horrible credit but I've had the same job for 18 years and have a car loan I've never been late on. I also reminded him of my co-signer. He never called my references, my job, my co-signer, nothing.!! He told me that ""people like me don't pay my bills, can't keep house, and get evicted!"" That my husband dying is no excuse bto have poor credit even though he made over 100 grand a year........He was rude and pretty much told me I was a loser. When I went in to get my refund of 60.00, he would n't even talk to me. He told me he sincerely felt bad. I told him that was bull !!! That he didn't even call anyone on my behalf, he judged me and he was wrong. He said ""oh well, that happens sometimes and good luck, your gonna need it!"" I tod him they are the WORST kind of Christians!!!! I would NEVER recommend them for anything!! They are mean, rude and do not do their jobs!!! BEWARE of ROWAN REALTY!!! more

The only reason I rated them one star is because zero stars is not an option. Let me start by saying that first the secretary/ owners son Erin has no respect for anyone. He treats everyone with complete disrespect and acts as if he is better than everyone. His father Andrew is not much better. When I tried to speak to him about his son, all he had to say is that he doesnt have time any the only other person is Erin. They both have lied about my property, lied about tenants lied about everything. This is a horrible company with no sense of professionalism at all. I highly recommend not doing business with this company, Andrew or Erin. The only worried about the money in there pocket and will lie, cheat or steal to make sure they get paid but have no concern for there clients Pros: nothing Cons: everything more
