Dave our local Roto-Rooter plumber arrived quickly from Cincinnati,identified the problem and went to work on fixing my issue. He was knowledgeable and talked me through the process as he worked. I have to say Roto Rooter was very professional and fixed our issue right away. We had a clogged downspout in our front yard which required digging in our yard to replace a portion of the pipe. Greg K. and Louis (1109) were very professional and knowledgeable and fixed our problem. My only complaint is that we had to have 2 seperate appointments to figure out the problem which was very expensive (over $500) in just appointment fees plus the cost to fix the problem. A June 30th a.m. call requesting help for a clogged commode resulted in a 10p.m. service run. Rep was very clean, manorly, and friendly. Stated a snakeing would be $185.00, removal of commode $200. plus. Agreed to snakeing which opened the clog. After putting back in truck the snake, Mr. Bader returned to bathroom and following a period of time I went to see what was happening. He had opened a bottle of drain cleaner which I assumed he was going to put into commode. He gave pitch as to its powers to clean drains and asked if I would like for him to place some in the drain. Again I assumed this was for the commode so I agreed but he did not drop it into the commode. He then stated it does wonders in disposals so we headed to the kitchen where he dropped some in there. Then he closed up, handed me the paperwork which he had just then filled in, I paid and he left leaving the botttle of drain cleaner behind. I found out the next day in a call to the office that it was not to be more

The Roto-Rooter plumber that arrived at my home was on time and very professional. He explained everything that needed to be done and the costs associated with each item. The work was then completed as he had explained in the quote and everything was perfect. It was as pleasant as having to have a plumber come to your house as it could be and I will call them the next time I experience plumbing issues beyond my abilities. more

Called on a Sunday evening, Roto-Rooter was at our house within an hour. Matt, the technician worked on the drain problem for about 3 hours, leaving at 10pm. Needed different equipment which was brought out the next morning by Nick. He was able to clear the drain within 30 minutes. Both technicians did an outstanding job and I would use Roto-Rooter again. more

with 2.5 inches of rain in a couple of hours I had a basement full of water. Roto-Rooter came that same day and did a great job. He stayed past his shift to see I was taken care of. Great service. more

I came home at 10:00 p.m. to find out 5 inches of dirty water in my bathtub. I called Roto-Rooter and the plumber was out within 2 hours. He suggested several different way to unclog the drain. He was very nice and helpful and did a great job. And he also cleaned up after the job, which was very helpful since it was late. I will definetely use Roto-Rooter in Cincinnati again. more

There was water coming through the seams of the basement flooring in my 1/2 bathroom and I thought it was the toilet leaking so I called Roto-Rooter and Louis the technican came and unseated my basement toilet and found that the water wasn't coming from the toilet but behind the drywall and the drywall was so soft that I Iliterally knocked a hole in the wall and removed a large portion of the drywall and Louis found a 4 inch crack and the water was running down the crack to the floor pass the baseboards and into another area in the basement. I was devasted and visibly upset not knowing which way to turn and Louis emphatized and was very positive about recommending a couple of waterproofing companies that Roto-Rooter refers and he said that once I got the waterproofing taken care of to call and make an appointment and he would come back and reseat my toilet. It was a very costly journey but I'm happy Louis was there and found my huge problem and set my feet in the right direction for immediate help. Excellent service! The phone reps are wonderful and reassuring. The technician, Ron, was great. I had a difficult job with sink stops that had ceased functioning, so when I turned them off, they broke. Water was running everywhere. This was in the middle of a job removing the old sink vanity and replacing it with a new sink and vanity. My intention had been to hire the plumber once I had the removal completed. However, since things were leaking, I needed someone right away before I could go forward. Ron was not only able to fix the plumbing perfectly, but he put the new vanity in place, set screws in and caulked around the sink, so it's all beautiful and perfect. The new sink stops are much better. He also recommended replacing the trap, which had become old and useless. I could not have asked for better service. Thanks so much! Roto-Rooter Service 03/11/2010 I called Roto-Rooter after speaking with several other plumbing companies when the basement floor drain began to stop up when laundry was draining. Like most people, we had tried to fix things ourselves (dumping drano down the line, plunging when a clog happened) and last night when I found myself ankle deep and very little success (I finally had managed to get a slow drain instead of a clog) myself and my fiance decided to drop the money and call a plumber. Andy came within 1 hour of my call, took the time to explain everything to me, what could happen (worst case scenario) and began working on the problem. Andy worked professionally, kept me in the loop the whole time, and double and triple checked that all was working correctly before leaving. Andy was also very friendly, pleasant to have around and I feel was completely trustworthy. When a cap needed to be replaced, I was offered the choice of the PVC (plastic) cap for $7 or the higher priced brass. Not that the extra $11.00 for the brass cover would have broken the bank, but at no time was I pressured to pay more or buy somehting more expensive that wasn't needed. I would recommend Roto-Rooter and especially Andy as a tech to anyone needing plumbing work. Originally I was a little leary of Roto-rooter because other local plumbers stated I would be paying over $300 for something they would charge between $100-$245 (If I wanted to wait for their timetable). Roto-Rooter send Andy over the same day, (I spoke to them at 10:45 and he was standing in my kitchen by noontime same day) for about the same price as the other guys wanted for a main drain snaking. I recently had a clogged kitchen sink and after I was unable to clear the clog myself I decided to call Roto-Rooter to assist. I've used them before and was very pleased with the service provided. They responded very quickly, within an hour of my calling them. It turned out that I had a very serious clog in the sink and the plumber did an excellent job at clearing it even though it was an extremely messy job. I was also grateful that he cleaned the mess as well. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend their services. more

Roto-Rooter provided prompt and professional services. Confirmed that you get what you pay for. We have been dealing with sewer drain issues over a 2-year period.
