Good dentist, hygeinist so-so. 11/9/2010

I was happy with the doctor-- very good job keeping things comfortable while getting a cavity filled. The hygeinist wasn't bad but was not very sociable and did not seem to take any extra care not to stab me in the gums even after making several comments of "gosh, you're a bit tender there." Still, nice place overall. I give a 4 because I'd say the dentist gets 4's and 5's and the hygeinist gets 3's at best. more

Great service from the time I walked in to the time I left. The very first time I have ever been to the dentist and had my benifits explained to me. Dr. Rooney is a great dentist and very nice, and pretty funny. I enjoyed my experience and am sad I only get to go twice a year. ;) more

I cannot begin totellyou how much I appreciated the fact that you were able to squeeze me in at last minute notice rather than having me wait til my scheduled visit. Everybody there is so kind. I no longer have an agonizing toothache. Just a little tender to the touch which is to be expected. Thank you again and again. Now I can look forward to an uninterrupted sleep for the first time in almost two months. more

Great first visit! 9/21/2010

Since moving up to this area, it had been over 2 years since my last dentist visit, whom I had used for over 25 years. I was a little nervous at first, but everyone was professional yet relaxed. They explained everything that they were going to do, and continually made sure I was comfortable and could discuss their procedures at any time. It's a great relief to know I have new dentists that I feel very comfortable with! more

After teaching for three years in Madrid Spain, Dr. Rooney and his wife Monica returned to California, where he completed studies in Oral Biology and earned his D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco. After completing a one year residency program at the University of Florida, Dr. Rooney earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate. Dr. Rooney has been practicing modern dentistry in Redding since he, Monica and their children, Connor & Sofia moved here in 2002.
