Great fun at the dentist 9/29/2011

Thanks for making my dental experiance as pleasant as possible! Having a filling put in is never something you look forward to, but Dr. Neill and Wendy made it a nice easy morning of drilling fun. :) Thanks girls. more

Great visit 9/29/2011

Awesome staff and was really happy with all the tests performed - especiialy since I don't need any immediate work! Dr. Rooney took the time to explain what is happening to my teeth now as well as what may be expected in the future. I will definitely be back. more

Best Denist Experience Ever! 9/29/2011

I have had a fear of the dentist for as long as I can remember. I chose Dr. Neill because she has a reputation as being gentle and caring with her patients. She was amazing! I really felt like she took her time and cared about how I was feeling. This was the first POSITIVE dental experience I have ever had and I am extremley grateful to Dr. Neill and the entire staff! more

Kid Friendly 9/28/2011

Our 6 year old daughter needed a very small filling. Dr. Neill and her assistant were wonderful! Dr. Neill explained every single step to our daughter before she even started and showed her all the tools she would be using. They counted together, even counted by 5, so she knew how long she had to keep her mouth open and stay still. It was so much easier than I thought it was going to be. Everyone in the office is friendly and upbeat. I wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else. more

As lovely a time one could have at the dentist! 9/24/2011

Clean, prompt, professional. No unnecessary chitchat. Dr. Rooney was kind. the hygenest could have been a bit nicer but not here to make friends. One flaw was I sat in a very wet seat. A good sign that the chairs are cleaned between patients but a bit disconcerting nonetheless. more

My initial visit to your office 9/22/2011

I was very pleased with my initial appointment with Dr. Rooney. Ashley was very professional and proficient with taking my xrays and was cordial and warm. Always a pleasant experience 9/21/2011

I used to be one of those people who was terrified of going to the dentist (so I didn't go to one for over a decade, and my teeth really suffered because of it). When I finally got my act together and began going to a dentist again, it was Dr. Rooney. He has always been great, pleasant, totally down to earth and the experiences always leave me with a smile on my face (even if it's lopsided). The dental technicians working for him are also really great people, and I no longer dread my dental appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Rooney. more

Can't ask for more 8/29/2011

Proessional, friendly, informative, genuine patient concern, what more can you ask from a dental office? They have handled all of my insurance billing and made things as simple as possible. They have worked on my teeth with gentle care and have always taken the extra time to be sure I understand what's going on and that I'm as comfortable as possible. Dental care is expensive no matter who you see. If I'm going to spend that kind of money, I want the best, and Dr Rooney and his staff are worth every penny. more

Great first visit for new patient. 8/19/2011

  • Dr. John. Rooney completed his bachelor's degree at Fresno State University. After teaching for three years in Madrid Spain, Dr. Rooney and his wife Monica returned to California, where he completed studies in Oral Biology and earned his D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco. After completing a one year residency program at the University of Florida, Dr. Rooney earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate. Dr. Rooney has been practicing modern dentistry in Redding since he, Monica and their children, Connor & Sofia moved here in 2002.
