can you have dr. neill call me at work today?? 5/26/2011

530.238.8053 my crown tooth feels fine today. the pocket/bubble next to it in the gum is gone. i'd rather cancel the appointment with dr. pruett for a root canal and do the deep cleaning next week like we had previously scheduled if that's ok with her. i'd rather do the root canal if necessary when my insurance will cover it. terry beck more

Recently changed dentists due to former dentist retiring. Had a great experience at Dr. John Rooney's office. The staff was very courteous and the hygienist was very professional. They also use the latest instruments. I would recommend to anyone. more

Most hate going to dentists for proceedures because of the shot... Dr. Neill did an amazing job! I did not feel one bit of a pinch or any pain! It was an excellent experience! more

Thorough and friendly, but very overpriced! 5/13/2011

Dr. Neil was very friendly and thorough in her examination and explanation of services needed in the future. However over $1300 for one crown is grossly overpriced! No discount for those without insurance either. I went in with pretty healthy teeth and walked out with a list of over $7500 of services that I "needed" to have done. more

Dental Fears 4/26/2011

I am one who hates going to the dentist and have anxiety days before. Dr Neill and her staff were sweet and kind and never made me feel bad or embarassed about the treatment I need for my teeth or the condition of my teeth. They took their time and always checked with me if I was comforitable and OK. It was a great experience! more

  • Dr. John. Rooney completed his bachelor's degree at Fresno State University. After teaching for three years in Madrid Spain, Dr. Rooney and his wife Monica returned to California, where he completed studies in Oral Biology and earned his D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco. After completing a one year residency program at the University of Florida, Dr. Rooney earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate. Dr. Rooney has been practicing modern dentistry in Redding since he, Monica and their children, Connor & Sofia moved here in 2002.
