I Like Going to the Dentist 4/17/2011

Not only was my visit to see Dr. Neill anxiety free and an over-all pleasant experience, my 4 year old son was completely at ease during his first dental check-up. Dr. Neill and her assistant were very personable and extremely patient with my talkative and inquisitive boy. I also appreciated that Dr. Neill talked me through her findings and I felt that she did a great job of helping me understand my dental health and what I could do to improve it. more

the staff there are very in sync with what their clients needs are while in the dental chair, and keep on top of how patient is doing. The front desk is very friendly and eager to help with any questions. I have been going there many months and the friendliness is always a part of their care. I have referred several of my friends to Dr. Rooney. more

Beyond Excellent 3/29/2011

Between the cost and the work completed A+++. Dentist completed perfect work and did excellent job with all children and beat previous "cheaper" dental places around town hands down. Will make a perminent dentist! Thanks so much!!! more

The girl that cleaned my teeth this time could learn something from the girl that cleaned them the first time.You should have her shadow the girl that cleaned my teeth the first time for a whole day.This visit she was rough with my teeth and I had much more discomfort after the cleaning. It seemed to me as if she was in a hurry. This won't stop me from seeing you in the future, but I may request the girl that did my first teeth cleaning if that is possible.Hope this feedback goes somewhere. more

  • Dr. John. Rooney completed his bachelor's degree at Fresno State University. After teaching for three years in Madrid Spain, Dr. Rooney and his wife Monica returned to California, where he completed studies in Oral Biology and earned his D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco. After completing a one year residency program at the University of Florida, Dr. Rooney earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate. Dr. Rooney has been practicing modern dentistry in Redding since he, Monica and their children, Connor & Sofia moved here in 2002.
