I made a first time waxing appointment at B. Roman's. When I arrived, the receptionist told me I didn't have an appointment and called the other location to see if I had made an appointment at the wrong place. After a few minutes of going back and forth, she finally discovered that my appointment had been made under another client's name. Finally, almost 20 minutes after my appointment time, she takes me back to meet the esthetician. While I was aggravated about the circumstances, I appreciate the receptionist's kindness throughout the ordeal. She attempted to resolve the situation the best way she could. She apologized profusely for the mix up. However, when I met the esthetician, she seemed annoyed by the circumstance and acted as if it was my fault. She was very negative and unfriendly while performing the service, telling me how the previous waxer did such a poor job and she would need months to undo the mess. I felt the appointment was very rushed because the confusion at the front desk had caused a back up of clients, since waxing appointments were scheduled every 15 mintues. \r

Apart from the lacking customer service skills, I was fairly pleased with the wax job. My main complaint was that she did not tweeze the short hairs left behind when waxing my brows. So, I had to tweeze them whenever I got home. The shape of my brows were exactly what I wanted, and I do believe that she is an experienced and capable esthetician. I simply wish that the services I was paying for were not cut short because of a front desk mix up. Maybe they should allow more time between appointments to allow more flexibility.
