My mother bought tickets for my husband and I to go, and I have to say, she really wasted her money. Rockin' R promised us a delicious cowboy style dinner with all the fixin's and a great floor show. Well to start with, the dinner is held in a barn with a dirt floor. With everyone walking around, dust kept getting kicked up and my throat was dry. They only serve two things to drink, water and lemonade. One pitcher of each drink is placed on every table, and when it's gone, there are NO refills. You have to take your tray and go stand in line for food (suppose to be part of the cowbpoy charm). Dinner consisted of either beef or chicken. They don't tell you that the meat is drowning in their barbeque sauce, which is TERRIBLE. I tried scraping the sauce off, couldnt do it and ended up giving my chicken to my husband. They also gave us a baked potato, no biscuits that night so we got cornbread, which I hate, applesauce, which I can't eat because it upsets my stomach and spice cake for dessert, which I also hate. So out of all the stuff on my tray, I could only eat the potato. My husband ate what he could, but he agreed, the food was terrible. Then after dinner, you have to take your tray back to the kitchen. The floor show started and it was boring. They sang old cowboy songs, had some "ghost rider" ride past the windows on the barn, did some rope tricks and a bunch of other dull stuff. As soon as the show was over, they wanted everyone to gather outside the gift shop for one final act. My husband and I both knew what they were up to, they want you to buy stuff. We cut it short and got out of there. Our first stop; Burger King. I was so hungry and thirsty. Got back to my mother's house and told her were weren't happy with Rockin' R. She wasted 60 dollars for nothing. I've been to better dinner/floor shows for LESS money. Rockin' R caters to older people which is why my mother liked it. But anyone in their 20's, 30's and 40's will be bored with it. Not to mention, the food was so HORRIBLE. For 30 dollars a person, go
