these guys are shameless.... customer service non-existent. i think they have a member of staff writing positive reviews for them. FIND ANOTHER OIL PROVIDER... YOU WILL BE HAPPIER! 1st year customer with this company,my account manager was excellent and I got my oil deliveries for the contracted amount on time,but now I received an oil delivery in MAY that was NOT asked for and not under the contracted amount when the weather has already warm and now it is my responsibility to pay for oil I did not ask for,beware of this company because they will deliver excess oil without your notification and tell you it was under automatic delivery when I have told them on numerous occasions I will call for oil when it is needed,I will let all my customers and all my friends know about this game that this company plays to get rid of excess oil and the customer ends up with excess bills and Robison does nothing to correct it but tells you there is a miscommunication but you still have to pay for our screw up.Very disappointed in this company and will let everyone know unless corrected more

I've been using Robison Oil for about a year. I get gas from them and then when I have a problem with the furnace, which I have on two occasions, their people come over and do really good work on it. The people they sent over who did the work on the furnace did a very good job. They really went above and beyond! When the first guy came over, he said that my furnace had not been cleaned properly in years. So he was clearly doing something the average service provider, and the company I was using before, doesn't do. more

I've been with Robison Oil for years, since they started out with the changed management. I have a yearly contract with them for the heat and everything, so they come and clean and everything. I'm very satisfied! I wouldn't change anything. If you're thinking of using them, go for it! more

I have to say, from the initial meeting with Frank for the "sales pitch" to the installation of the actual product, Robisons is FAR superior than any!! Robison oil went to my home when I was not there because I trusted them, I run a business and I feel they have the same standards and values that I have. I've had a very positive experience with Robison Oil! I've been in my house for about 41 years, and I started out with the company that Robison later bought. So I've been with them at least 25 years, if not more. It's been a long time. Until this season, I would probably have given them rated them a three for how willing I was to recommend them. But I sent back a questionnaire to them where I made a note that it would be great if they offered a senior citizen discount for the oil. I got a call from them not too long after, and they started the discount! I would recommend them to any of my senior friends. I have explained to them that I am a senior and that I have some health issues, so it's important I don't run out of oil. They deliver the oil to me every month, and they have been terrific! I don't have to worry about calling for oil, and the service technicians who come are really proficient. I also have found that their service technicians are very experienced and have been with the company for a long time. They try to send the same technician every time, so they know you and the system you have. I appreciate that, since I'm dubious about letting people I don't know into the house. I have service contract with them, so they're the only company I deal with! They've always treated me with great respect. They're dependable and efficient. If I can get through a winter without losing anything, I'm happy as a $@!#%! I'm very happy with them! If I weren't, I would let them know. I know the service I'm paying for, and when I call them, they're here. It's a really nice feeling. more

I had my service done at the beginning of December. One day I woke up with no heat and I immediately called them. Robison Oil sent someone over within 4-5 hours. They changed the filter and overall I was satisfied with them. I even recommended two of my friends to them and they are quite satisfied as well. more

Robison Oil first helped me years ago when we had a heavy snowstorm. I went downstairs, and the oil was almost down to the bottom. The street wasn't even plowed, but they came right up and gave me more oil. Two weeks ago, I ran out of oil on a Sunday. I thought about waiting until Monday to call, but it was really cold! So, I called Robison. Within an hour, someone was over here to fix it. more

Robison Oil came in, did their job, and left. They pumped oil into my oil burner and kept everything clean. They didn't bother me at all while I was in the house. It all worked out beautifully. more

I would highly recommend Robison Oil. We've been using them since they took over the company we were using before, so we've been using them for about 20 years. Everything as far as their service and their phone courtesy and the guy, Greg, who comes to house, is very professional. Greg understands the working of the unit, and he is here when he says he's going to be. He doesn't take overlong when he's here. The only exception we have is that they're a little expensive. But I really can't compare them to anyone else because I haven't checked other prices. It's just getting more and more expensive to heat the house. I would say you should use Robison. You can shop around for price. But as far as the service you'll get from them, we've never run out of oil. They have us on a computerized system so they're always there on the date they should be. The delivery is always there, and we've had no problems. We get our oil, and we're happy with it. more

I would be lying terribly if I said Robison Oil was terrible! They are always on time. They always do the right thing. They always get the work done with great service. more

We've been using Robison Oil for years, and we've never run out of oil. We started using them when we bought our house in 1973, but I think they had a different name then. If our furnace ever has problems, they come right away to fix it. They are very reliable. I think the most important thing about their service is the emergency service. When the furnace is out, they come! more

When I spoke with Robison Oil earlier last year, I was impressed with them. But I had already made a commitment with another company. But when that other company failed to live up to the promises they made me, I called Robison back. They have lived up to the promises they made when we spoke, so I've been purchasing gas from them since about March. I'm very happy with them. I recommended them to two other people, one of whom is now a customer of Robison. You should call the Robison sales staff and talk with them, and you can make a determination based on what you hear from them. I'm satisfied with what I heard, which is why I'm a customer of theirs. They have provided me with a very competitive price and excellent service more

Delivery and response when there was a problem have been good. But it would have been nice if Robison had warned me ahead of time that I needed to book my annual boiler cleaning 6 months in advance. Burke prompts their customers to make the appointment at the appropriate time. Perhaps Robison could do that as well. more
