We had invited my brother-in-law and his wife to join us for dinner at teh Roasted Pear. It was a convenient place to meet and heard it had a good menu. The menu was interesting. The ususal steak and fish options but alos some daringness with a Blue Cheese Shrimp dish, gargonzola steak, and interesting parmesean crusted walleye.\r

The walleye was cold and smothered in some sort of fakey cheese, the shrimp, shribbled and the Garginzola paste. My prime rib looked good, bit was cold. The garlic potatoes were cold and dry, the baked potatoe cold and the ravioli was not so tasty.\r

Service was prompt. Almost to fast at times but acceptable. We should have known there was some sort of problemn when we arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday and there were half a dozen open tables. Also should have known it was a wanna be place by the number of TV's lined up throughout the dining room. Sports bar? \r

Menu looks great but they need help cooking it.
