I've been going to the Reel in since I was 21, now I'm 41. The food has always been great and the fish very fresh. The fried food has also been very good since I first went. Usually, I have the broiled red snapper and a couple sides or oysters on the half shell, something like that. I recommend ordering anything broiled or blackened, but at all costs, avoiding anything fried, including calamari, any fish and shrimp. Usually these fried items are way overcooked and not fresh at all. Also avoid the rice. The rice stinks and they give way too much. The sides are drive through restaurant fare, basically, so don't expect alot. Most people come for the fish and the atmosphere.
Pros: Very fresh fish, relaxing atmosphere
Cons: Terrible fried food, terrible sides
