Excellent... I really appreciate that you clip all walk in dog's nails free of charge. That is a great help to the dogs and to our economic community.

Worst

I will never take my dog to get groomed at this place again! It looked like he got nicked with the clippers on his rear end in three different spots and was crying in pain the ent...

I had to go out of town and left my cat there for a couple days. I didn't like the way that the guy was treating me. Arguing with me pretty much when I told him that I wanted things to be done my way, since I know my cat. He kept insisting that he would use their stuff instead of mine. If you know cats well, you know that they are territorial and feel more comfortable having familiar things around them. He didn't care about this. When I went to pick my cat up, she was hiding and I was speechless when I saw that he didn't even care to put her wet food in a plate but left it in the can. How the hell is the cat supposed to eat the food like that??? The box was filthy and he just handled it to me like that to take it home. I will not only never recommend them but also won't take any of my cats to them even though they are just right around the corner from me and therefore convenient. Never again. more

The groomers are very professional 4/29/2011

The location of the Purple Poodle Pet Salon is great! It is convienantly next to Pet Supermarket, so after your pet is groomed, you can go het her some treats. The groomers are very professional, and really care about your pet. They treat them like their own. Make appointments far in advance! It is not likely you will be able to get a same day appointment. more

Been a customer of Purple Poodle Pet Center for over 8 years 4/12/2011

I have been going to Purple Poodle Pet Ctr. for over 8 years and I am very surprised at the negative reviews. I find them to be caring, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable on food, supplements,and health. Whenever I bring my dogs they get hugs and kisses so that shows me how much they care and my dogs are always happy to go there. They have never bled from nail trims. Also I have never seen or heard of them being on the news for anything much less abusing an animal. I can only surmise the person that wrote that might be mistaking Purple Poodle with another grooming /store. I recommend them highly to all my friends and they all are quite pleased I'm happy to say. Even if you don't groom your pet at least visit the store and see how unique it is..All the best natural and organic foods, raw , canned and kibble, along with toys, leashes, collars, supplements and any other item you might desire...And don't judge the store on the reviews..You should go and see for yourself. more

They keep the kennels clean and the dogs happy 4/5/2011

I boarded my dog here when I had a family emergency. I was out of town for 10 days and was due to get my dog groomed the next week. When I dropped off Charlie, my poodle, Dave let me know that they could groom him while I was out of town. When I picked Charlie up he looked great and had a good time while I was gone. They keep the kennels clean and the dogs happy. more

I find your staff to be very helpful...the haircut Miles gets is consistently very good and even though he doesn't like coming for a haircut you are always quick. I would love to be able to bring him in at 3:30 in the afternoon since I am a teacher and that way I wouldn't have to use you valuable weekend slots. more

Dogs groomed look great 3/10/2011

I always found Dave to be extremely helpful. Still do. The grooming I had done in the past was great. Since I live so far away, I haven't had grooming done there in some time, but when I am in the area for doctor's appointment, I go there to purchase food for cats and dogs, the dogs that are groomed look great! more
