Best

i love this Cuban restaurant there coffee is the best also i like there food but i guess other people that have not been to Miami that often and also that they don't live here ...

Worst

Sure it may be some good cuban food, but the service given at the place is the worst! I mean there was this one waitress who would scream everytime she went from the dinning area ...

Not great... But not bad... Place has the old school diner feel... Dinner was okay.. Staff is a bit unatentive but nice... I would just use this place for coffee & bread to start off the day more

I had a Roasted Chicken lunch special, it was delicious. Also got a chance to try their coconut shrimp - huge, succulent, and delicious.\r I love the hole in the wall atmosphere and the art on the walls.\r I wish I lived in Florida so I could come more often. more

I recently visited Puerto Sagua while in Miami. It was everything the reviewers said. The food was great from start to finish. I had the fried grouper with black beans and rice. They were the best black beans I have ever had. I could had eaten a bucket of them. The fish was cooked to perfection and a very large portion of fish at that. it was enough for at least 3 people. The tostones were the largest I have ever seen and perfectly cooked. Crisp on the outside and nice and moist on the inside. I had no room for dessert but it was a wonderful meal all around. Not much for ambiance or private conversations. It was very busy, noisy and crowded at 4 on a Saturday afternoon. more

repost\r cooked in the URINAL\r - Edit review March 09, 2010\r hi. i have been many times, and always find it filthy. last time i went the bathroom was horrible! A kitchen worker went right up to the disgusting urinal lifted his apron, pressed himself against the urinal (apron in urinal), dropped apron back down and walked out without washing..i also walked out.. before ordering. been before, and it is not a good representative of cuban food in miami. better to go to la carreta.\r \r Recommend more

Sooo, it was okay. Though I've probably only dined out for Cuban fare once or twice before, my expectations were high based on what I read here. Also, the place was packed, so I hoped that was a good sign. I had the Ropa Vieja (shredded beef), since so many reviewers suggested it. Again, it was okay. Kinda bland. Overall, I didn't vote to "like" or "dislike." Take it for what it's worth, and I hope you enjoy! more
