I was not impressed with my first experience to Polished even though they came highly recommended. The decor is cute and the staff was friendly but a lot of people in my party of 5 were not satisfied with some of their services. 1. The customer service I rec'd at the front desk was nonexistent since the owner/manager never spoke to me. She kept a angry look on her face and rude attitude the whole time I was there (about 3hrs). I followed the lead of a friend who was in my party. I felt that my money and I were not appreciated. 2. I was left to dry at one of the manicure tables and no one ever came back to see if I was dry or ask if I was OK. I guess it was because I had already paid. I will not return for another service because for me customer service is everything!! more

My experience here was not good at all!!!! I went in on February 12th, 2011 to celebrate my birthday weekend with my friends. There was a total of 5 of us, but there was suppose yo be six. One of my girls could not make it and therefore, we were told we were still responsible for her services. Mind you, we were not booked as a party, a party consist of 8 people. The owner walked over to my friend and was very rude and confrontational with my best friend who had reserved our appointment on her credit card. My friend was not raising her voice and was very professional in trying to handle this issue. In order for us to try to continue to enjoy ourselves in spite of, we just got additional services to cover the service of the person missing. On the website they show the staff servicing their patron drinks, none of us were ever asked if we wanted anything to drink. We were never properly greeted when we walked in, the owner walked around with a sour puss face the entire time. GOOD NOTE: The technician that worked on me personally, Jennifer was GREAT! She did an excellent job and was very sweet. The decor is cute, but the space is smaller than what i thought it would be. However, the service that Jennifer provided was not enough to make up for the service that the SO-CALLED OWNER gave us. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. more

I went to Polished for the first time last weekend. I took my mom to get manicures and pedicures for Mother's Day. The service was great, the salon was very clean, and my manicure and pedicure have held up very well. I really enjoyed the experience and I've already booked my next appointment! more

I was very impressed with my first experience at Polished. I made the reservations online, and was emailed a response within a few hours. I showed up on time for my appointment, and was greeted warmly and led to my chair with no wait. I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the shop; having had some issues in the past with shops that didn't property sterilize equipment, Polished was a breath of fresh air. I had a great pedicure (Island Goddess) and a basic manicure. Both were very well done, and I loved that the manicurist was very gentle with my fingernails as I've only recently grown out my nails from a disastrous allergic reaction. This was the first salon I've been to since the summer, and I will definitely go back again. It's a little pricier than some, but for the convenience, professional work and cleanliness it's worth every penny! more

I've been to Polished several times and had 2 small birthday/girls day parties there. ?All of my visits have been great. ?The space is beautiful, clean and bright. Some friends and I went here for a birthday mani... couldn't have asked for a better space than Polished! The salon was beautiful, and staff friendly and helpful. Our only slight problem was that although we'd made an appointment for 4 we were each taken to have our nails done at different times resulting in 2 of 4 waiting around for the other 2 for 20 minutes or so. Prices were very reasonable and we learned about their weekend specials, mimosas on Sundays, etc. more

very pristine, and contemporary looking spot. it was immaculate and the nail tech who did my mani-pedi was really good. she was nice and quiet, but polite and friendly at the same time. there were some other girls working in there who were kind of hanging out and loudly gossiping at the front-which didn't bother me but i could see how some might come in there and see that as unprofessional. with a discount, i'd definitely go back. especially since it's in west atl!! more

The first time I set my eyes on Polished Beauty Lounge, I was in Aw! I had not ever seen a ""nail salon"" look so, well, polished!It's the great lengths ,owner Selam Welde, went to make this place so inviting that, will allow Polished Beauty Lounge to service Atlanta for many years to come. more

This is definitely my new mani-pedi spot! This place is spotless, with the cutest decor! You pretty much have to make an appointment for all services because they get pretty booked, especially on the days where they offer complimentary mimosas! Along with basic nail services (they only do gel nails), they offer waxing, threading, and facials. This is not your typical massage chair kind of place, you are propped up on a huge over sized pillow, while your toes soak away in a small basin ( no whirlpool tubs), which I love because of all those germ horror stories you hear about! Very sterile, and polite service by Pinkie.They also use all OPI and Essie products, and have been featured in Lucky magazine as well as Allure-I think. I will definitely be heading back here very soon! more

I really enjoyed my experience here and I plan to go back. I had a manicure, pedicure and had my eyebrows threaded. The place is clean and they did a good job too. I love the pink water I soaked in for the pedicure! I won't say the service was ""over the top"" . But this place more than met my needs and I think that for what you get, the prices are very reasonable. Also, I made an appointment (on a Thursday evening) and probably waited for about 10 minutes before they started my service. more

This place is right off of 1-285 & Atlanta Rd. in Smyrna in a new condo and town-home residential development. When you first walk in, you immediately notice how chic and girly it is. It's very classy with clean lines. They have steps leading to your ""throne"" with a big oversized pillow on it. The seat was also an oversized comfy cushion and I really felt like a queen! They don't use jet spas, but a large white tub sink. They have different pedis stylish-basic (but still comes with sea salts and a pineapple sugar scrub) and sugar treats- chocolate or strawberry sugar soak, scrub, whipped body frosting. I got the stylish and she really took her time and treated my feet to some much needed love and attention! They were busy so the owner herself came and started my pedi, which shows she actually cares. I absolutely loved this place, and what I like the most was how chic, clean and sterile it was with excellent staff, and it's not pricey at all! You can get a boutique experience here without those boutique prices or unlived up to hype- this place is for real! more

I just came back and I liked this place a lot. I got the basic mani/pedi and I was impressed. I had Etta and she was super nice, telling me about the area and even gave me contact info of someone to check out for my hair. I'm super new to the area and was in dire need for a mani/pedi and it was nice to have a great experience. The place was very clean and cute and the general vibe was positive. more

Their name definitely fits their services. Polished Beauty Lounge has been a favorite for myself, my friends and family for almost three years. The quality of their work is something to be bragged about. My polish last for up to two weeks (with proper care) and if it does not they have a no chip policy which I LOVE! Chipped nails within the week of getting your mani they'll do a polish change on them! I haven't come across that at any other salon. In response to the few bad reviews every salon has a few off days give it another try! Few helpful hints for new customers call ahead, specify your services, and confirm 24hrs before you arrive! more

They put the Posh in Polished! If you're looking to get pampered on a budget this is the place to go. They aren't your typical retail mall nail salon so don't expect the cheap prices, however if you are looking for a cute boutique atmosphere with a great pedi for around $30, this is the place to go. Their pedicures last a long time and keep up well so the extra penny is worth it. They allow you to BYOB (as long it's clear) and serve free mimosa's on Sundays. The salon is in a convenient location across from Crepe Revolution (yum-o) which is perfect for a girls brunch and pampering. Enjoy! more

A truly lovely spot, and a nice step in between the divey nail shops and the upscale spa/salons that'll cost you an arm and a leg. The whole space is crisp white with fun blue and pink accents; all very modern and calming. All of the services are presented a la carte, so you can easily pick and choose what you want with the pricing being up front. I really really appreciated this, as I have been victim to many a paid upgrade in my day without knowing I was actually paying for it. They've got three different ""levels"" of your mani/pedis and then you can add in things like paraffin and hot stone massage for an additional charge. They also offer both threading and waxing. I opted for solely a manicure this time around, seeing as my feet won't be seen till next spring. They had a good selection of colors (both OPI and Essie). My manicure was quite pleasant, with a really great scrub and lots of TLC. They also guarantee against chipping here: 3 days for manicures, 7 for pedicures. I had never seen that before and left with great confidence that my nails will stay in tip top shape for quite some time. The staff was incredibly pleasant and friendly, and if this spot weren't so far away from me I'd assuredly be a regular. Definitely worth stopping in for a little self-indulgence. more

I love, love, love Polished Beauty Lounge. ?Polished is the cleanest nail salon i have ever been too. ?They DO NOT use those hazardous whirlpool jets that other nail salons use, so you don't have to worry about contracting some flesh eating fungus. ? I like that they do not rush you through your service. ?They do the manicures and pedicures separately, so you really have time to relax and enjoy being pampered. ?They also have a great selection of OPI nail colors. ?I would suggest you book an appointment because it gets very busy. ?If you need a great mani/pedi and you don't mind spending a little extra go to Polished Beauty Lounge. ?Its worth it! more

They are the best nail salon in Atlanta. My friends,employees,neighbors all drive 30minutes so Polished. That means we pass over 100 nail salons because they are that GOOD.The Manager and her staff always makes sure everyone is happy with their service.Also the lates nail polish collection at all times.We love the staff and the salon.All you haters please take your anger somewhere else. more
