Wow, I'm glad I stopped by this place, but I might have just missed it if I hadn't missed a turn. This cute restaurant is right off the freeway and tucked at the end of a busy street. We decided to eat here as the place looked so exotic. Even in the light mist, there were a few patrons in the patio area. We sat inside the restaurant. The decor is very stunning. It is very much like a museum with authentic hangings on the wall. I've been to India and I'm not sure if these items are widely sold in the market. It gave me something interesting to look at while I was eating. My mother in law who was with me loved the place! Like all the reviews below, the food is incredible. This is the highlight of the restaurant. The appetizers came out quickly. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but it was well worth it. Savor the time, look at the decor, because when the food comes out , you won't be disappointed. If you don't know your dishes well, ask the waiter, he was very helpful. We opted for dishes we were familiar with, but the choices are quite broad that you could get lost in the translation. I might try something different the next time I'm in town. It was fun. Yeah, definitely try the place.
Pros: Loved the food
Cons: Weather can get a bit gloomy in Portland for outdoor seating
