I just love this restaurant. The roadhouse pizza is a dream, meat meat and more meat. I have tried most of their dishes, excellent. Great staff. LOVE IT!!!!!

Great pizza and baked Italian dishes 7/13/2009

I've enjoyed Pizza Bank for many years. The pizza has the the cheese on top of the items so they get baked in and it creates a wonderful pizza. They also have baked pasta dishes that are HUGE. If you are really hungry, go here! I like the beer and wine menu too. The beer and wine selection isn't huge but it's good. They also have a good kids menu that comes with a drink. No other pizza I've ever had measures up! 3/2/2008

My wife and I have been enjoying pizza and Italian dinners at the Pizza Bank for sixteen years. Almost every time that we have the house special pizza we think it's the best yet. Even though we have very high expectations, I don't recall ever being disappointed in anything: the food, service, prices, and fun. more

Best Italian food there is 9/28/2007

I worked here for a while and I can't emphasize enough what a positive, friendly environment Pizza Bank provides its patrons. The staff tries hard to remember common orders so you're treated like a member of the family, not like a customer. Ray, the owner, is a great guy. He pays his employees well, he serves excellent food, he doesn't cut corners. The wait can be long, but reservations are accepted, and the food is worth waiting for. I still crave the food Pizza Bank serves. It's my favorite Italian food, by far. Pros: The amount of food you get for your money is worth waiting for and there are no exceptions to the excellent quality. Cons: There can be a wait, however, reservations are accepted. more

I love this place, it's grown on me a lot. The owner is so nice and the staff is just so friendly. While their bread is less than to be desired, their pizza, minestrone soup, and pastas are so amazingly tasty. more

kid-friendly, good food, good service 8/27/2006

Many menu items are very good. The best salads (Cesar or feta) in the area. Get one with chicken and its a meal. Great kids menu and casual, and inexpensive, enough to take the kids. The owner/manager, Ray, keeps a close eye on things, with young but very professional servers and staff. This place is better run than most more upscale restaurants, which is why they are always quite busy. The garlic bread is bizarre, but it is probably what they've been serving since 1983 and it does kind of grow on you after awhile. Some soft bread with garlic butter on the table would make this place about perfect, but why mess with success? It can't be easy to be an independent local family restaurant these days, but I'm sure this place will be around for a very long time because they do it so well. Best Pizza in the area - servers could be friendlier. 8/22/2006

We just moved to the local area and this place was referred by a co-worker. It's unassuming exterior is easy to pass by, which we did many times before we finally stopped in. First, let me say that this place is crowded almost any night of the week. We believe it's worth the wait. We've tried their salads, pizza, pasta and sandwiches in my 6 or 7 visits and all have been great. The pizza is what we enjoy the most though. I think it's some of the best pizza in the area. Good sauce, excellent crust and a good mixture of cheeses on top. You can get just about any topping you want. If you haven't tried this place, and enjoy a good pizza, give it a shot - I doubt you'll be disappointed. If you're not up for dining out - they do an impressive carry-out business. Pros: Excellent Pizza, nice hostess staff, owner/manager is very friendly Cons: parking can be a challenge sometimes / wait staff could be a bit friendlier. more

Mediocre at best! 1/14/2006

We tried this place after reading the other recommendations. We were very disappointed to say the least. My husband ordered the lasagne and said it was the worst he's ever had. I had the eggplant parmesan; it was fair at best. Our son had the pizza and it was below average. The garlic bread was awful; mediocre bread soaked in some sort of oil with a hint of garlic. Probably the worst Italian restaurant we've been to. Pros: Quick seating, Good service Cons: Mediocre food, Poor value more

Good Pizza 11/14/2005

My wife and I finally went in there after hearing a couple of good things about the place. The decor is pretty sparse on the inside. I wouldn't recommend for a romantic date, but the pizza and service are both good. Pros: Good Food, Easy Parking, Not Crowded Cons: Atmosphere, Not close to anything more

Nowhere in kirkland can you find and owner so involved in the whole experience. Owner started out as the cook years ago and now owns it. You can feel the passion for the restaurant. Pros: food, service, ownership Cons: crowded dinner time more

Kirkland's BEST Italian Food! 5/14/2005

Owner Ray Bosko has done an outstanding job of maintaining the outstanding quality of food and service for this ""hidden gem"" in the Kingsgate neighborhood of Kirkland. The Meatball subs (sliced meat, w/ fresh mushrooms and lots of gooey melted cheese) and a superb dipping sauce is THE BEST. The pizzas (reminescent of Spartas-style) and Italian dishes are wonderfully fresh and delicioius for a change too. Great new decor this past year, make for a enjoyable dining experience. Neigborhood place Wonderful 2/20/2005

Tried PizzaBank for the first time tonite. Ambience is mediocre until you're told this really was an ""old"" bank. Name now makes sense. House Special pizza is WOW good, but hold back...the Roadhouse Pizza is TO DIE FOR. Lasagna is yummy, chicken parma is pretty danged good too. Service is too good for our own good! Tip well. ENJOY!
