Review content:
Many menu items are very good. The best salads (Cesar or feta) in the area. Get one with chicken and its a meal. Great kids menu and casual, and inexpensive, enough to take the kids. The owner/manager, Ray, keeps a close eye on things, with young but very professional servers and staff. This place is better run than most more upscale restaurants, which is why they are always quite busy. The garlic bread is bizarre, but it is probably what they've been serving since 1983 and it does kind of grow on you after awhile. Some soft bread with garlic butter on the table would make this place about perfect, but why mess with success? It can't be easy to be an independent local family restaurant these days, but I'm sure this place will be around for a very long time because they do it so well.
Pros: salads, kid-friendly, casual
Cons: often busy
