It's been over ten years since getting my last tattoo while I was living in Minnesota. My son turns 18 soon and wanted his first tattoo as his birthday gift from mom and dad so I started looking around and researching different shops in NC. I ran across Phoenix Tattoo's web site and was very impressed. The site is great and the information on each artist along with their galleries is awesome. ALL of the artists there are extremely talented. Just take a look at their work on the site and I think you'll agree. All of this got me all pumped up for another one! This time, I wanted a tattoo that had a strong personal meaning reflecting about six years of heart-wrenching struggles that I endured. I met with Steve and we talked about my idea of having something personal to me that would represent that time in my life. I wanted to show that no matter what you are faced with in your life, faith in God and your own determination not to give up, will bring you out of it and you'll be a stronger, more spiritual, even happier person. I envisioned myself as the phoenix rising from the ashes of hell through God's hands. Steve's awesome artistic abilities rendered the tattoo in my profile pic. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It's beautiful and it's perfect. EXACTLY the message I wanted to display. THANK YOU Steve for bringing my vision to life. Every time I look at it, I smile knowing that the hell I was in during that time did not keep me from rising above it........with my faith in God. If you want a tattoo that has meaning, YOU NEED TO GO TO PHOENIX.
I wold also like to give props to the receptionist. I never got her name, but she was great as well. VERY nice, very helpful, very professional. I felt at ease and welcome. They treated me like a real person and they actually cared and listened to what I was looking for. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT SHOP. I'm going back tomorrow to be there with my son AND my husband who are both getting their first tattoos by Steve.
