Buyers beware. I made a purchase at the store and was treated extremely well when I paid almost $2k in cash, but when it came to service, I was treated like the 'red headed stepchild' because they could not fix the problem. Due to the problem being sporadic, I was advised that I made unclaimed/unwarranted service calls. As a result of it all, due to their power over me and their unwillingness to try to replicate and fix the problem, they terminated my warranty that had almost 3 year remaining. I spoke to one of the owners and asked for a prorated amount back for the washer and dryer so that I may purchase another from another store and a warranty. I was flatly denied and advised of 30 days policy. My question is, isn't this an exception to the policy since my warranty was unjustly terminated. Aren't there exceptions to rules? The scary part is that they have an F rating at the BBB and GE allows them to represent them and their products in a negative light. If you want superior product and service, you'd better think twice before making a purchase at their store. Just to add insult to injury, this is the 3rd, yes, 3rd chance that I gave their store. People that I spoke with went to their store and advised that they did not like what was portrayed by their staff......rude, unprofessional and 'standoffish' was what I was told. Think twice before entering the store! Now I have to endure a long battle in trying to get a fair shake and some justice with this matter. Being a working mom and dealing with the challenges of a child with disabilities, making it through the day-to-day with family and work challenges, and most important, being on a fixed income (as we all are) this is something that should not have been. They should have stood behind the product and if they could not fix it, then it should have been replaced.
