Patricia's salon isn't new to me, am a regular client of them. So this time my visit to him was for haircut, and I got a lot more. As am there regular client, she first asked her assistant to wash my hairs and blow dry. As always the haircut was awesome and i was out with new fresh look.. To be woman is something very complicated. We have to take care for everything & in less span of time, a corporate woman like me hardly finds time for beauty salons. I booked an appointment for facial & Brazilian waxing. knowing the importance of my time, Kalra attended me as soon as i walk inside the salon. Her hands were so gentle for facial, that massage was so relaxing that i fell asleep. Even Brazilian waxing was very gentle, it wasn't harsh. The results were satisfactory. Funny, I was also there this weekend. Patricia's recommends clients write reviews, to give their honest opinions, so I want to add some thoughts as well. I went Sunday, and like the girl who wrote for Saturday, The place was all hair extensions on Sunday. I must admit it is neat to do your hair extensions in a place, where everyone else is doing hair extensions. Kind of feels like you are in the right place in my opinion. Claudia did my hair, and it came out great. I am so happy. I had a bad hair cut experience, and needed a fix for it. I thought hair extensions would be the right thing to do, so I did it. To make a long story short, hair came out great. Love it. They also guarantee their work, if you have any issues, just come back and they make fixes for free. That is my kind of place. I went to have hair extensions done at Patricia's salon. Made the decision after seeing all of the great before and after pictures. Did the consult with Patricia. The place is well organized, gave me a consult form to find out more about me. I told her my goals, and showed her a picture of what I wanted to look like. She did my hair color, highlights, BKT and then GL hair extensions. I was there for like 6 hours, and got to see the salon in action. The place is really busy on Saturdays. There was no fewer than 8 hair extensions going on at the same time, with more and more people entering the salon for consults. I looked amazing, I am so happy with my hair. They did a great job. I love my hair. I asked them to put my pic's on the web. Hopefully they will be up soon. I just want to say the place is great. The place does great hair colors, and hair extensions. I had a very negative experience at Patricia's. I was forced to pay for a toner/color service that did not take to my hair. Patricia (the owner) herself said in a very unfriendly, gruff, inarticulate way ""color was used, you pay."" I was stunned and although I contended that there was absolutely no discernible change in my hair color, she insisted I pay over $100. A smart and respectful business owner would have eaten the low cost of the toner, and in the process gained a loyal, grateful customer for life. Not so with Patricia, she let her greediness and unpleasantness take precedence, and now I am exposing her scamming to potential customers. That written, Vincent is a lovely and experienced stylist, and he does an amazing bouncy, full of body blowout. He is the only reason to go to this salon, as his level of customer service and professionalism far exceeds most of the staff I encountered at Patricia's. So please be very careful at this salon, they are unscrupulous price gougers. My advice is to be very clear in communicating only the services you wish to have, and confirming the prices for each service upfront, so you do not pass out from shock when it is time to pay. I originally got my extension just for my wedding, but I love them so much that I keep inventing other occasions to wear them. Patricia hair salon is very thorough and measured my head and carefully matched the shade of my hair. In fact, Patricia hair salon 2 different shades together in the pieces in order to really match my color. Patricia hair salon matched my hair extensions PERFECTLY to my hair color in one try. The turnaround was so quick and the quality was excellent. I went to Patricia'd very nervous and with a bad highlights job. I was obv nervous to try a new stylist after what I have been through since I moved back to NYC. Melinda said she would fix everything,and she delivered. My blonde highlights are the BEST I have ever ever gotten. She asks you what you want and makes you feel at home. I have been going to Patricia Hair salon since 2008. My hair is growing back thicker and though I won't get my full head of hair back, I will grow enough to get my confidence back.
