Pacific Coast Termite

The main person we worked with when using Pacific Coast Termite was Brandon. He did a great job. They came out and used their products to remove the termites and also repaired a lot of woodwork. I have some experience with woodwork, and I was very pleased with the work. Brandon noticed that both our side door and patio cover had termite damage and suggested that we take care of it. He came in and put in a new door, tore the patio cover down, and cleaned everything up. I couldn't have been happier. Brandon also followed-up with us and even gave us his number so that we could call him if we needed anything fixed. Really, I am fantastically pleased with the great job Pacific Coast Termite did for us. Everyone was nice and polite, and it was a great experience. They were all very professional. I'm really grateful that I have Pacific Coast Termite. The technicians that they pick to do the work not only do their job really well, but they are just really good guys. They are polite, efficient, and know exactly what they are doing. It is rare to find such nice people to have over to do work in a house. I like the service especially because they don't use chemicals, which is important to me. I grow organically, and so I don't want chemicals in my home. However, I think that it is extremely expensive. If we were having people come out all the time, then the yearly fee would be worth it, but because we don't, it is very overpriced. However, for those that can afford it, Pacific Coast Termite does a great job. It really is a great service in terms of the people they send out to the house. I always get three bids on work of this nature and cost. In additon to Pacific Coast, I got bids from Planet Orange and Hitman. The reason I went with Pacific Coast was largely due to the inspector, Jeff Whitcomb. He was extremely thorough in work and a complete professional. As well, gave me a very competitive bid. He was miles above his competition. Everyone from his support staff were equally professional. They followed up in every way. The two men that did the application did good work, were great guys and did everything to make sure we we happy. more

I am very fastidious about my house, and from the moment Pacific Coast Termite arrived, they were very professional and careful. They laid plastics down to walk on, even though I told them it was okay to wear booties over their shoes. They were also very careful working in the attic, and no one has ever gone into my attic without banging into something. They listened to me and they knew I was nervous and that I do not like people messing with my stuff. But they were beyond any company I have ever had come out to my house. It was by far the best experience I have ever had with a termite control service. I have never had termite people come to my house and not leave some problem behind until now. I was also impressed that the technicians who did the work were both licensed inspectors. So if they saw anything additional, they could take care of it then. They are my guys. I am very happy with Pacific Coast Termite. I like that they do not tent. Tenting is very toxic, so I find their approach very forward-looking from a health and environmental standpoint. I feel very secure with Pacific Coast Termite. I cannot say enough about them and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a more permanent termite solution. They may not be the cheapest game in town, but I have learned that you always get what you pay for, and they guarantee their work. more

I had a leak, so I had to cut out some dry wall and I discovered evidence of termites. I heard an ad for Pacific Coast Termites on the radio, and they said they have a triple A rating with the Better Business Bureau, so I gave them a call. The inspector went around the perimeter of the property and was waiting for me to get home from work even though I was late. I thought that was cool. He gave me a full estimate, explained what was going to be done, and he offered me some other options that I declined. The two service technicians showed up right on time. They worked in pouring rain but didn't complain. They wiped their feet every time. They hosed down the front porch from having to drill though the concrete. It doesn't get any better than that. I am in the construction business, so I am a picky customer. I stayed out of their way, but I like to see what is going on and I was very impressed. I have recommended Pacific Coast Termite to everybody. more

I would give Pacific Coast Termite more than 5 stars for professionalism because of how they handled a difficult termite issue. I originally contacted them because they offered orange oil treatment versus the more toxic treatments. However, when the technician came to meet with me, he recommended a more aggressive approach than orange oil because the apartment had 2 different kinds of subterranean termites, one that did not respond well to orange oil. This technician has worked for Pacific Coast Termite for more than 5 years and really understands the issues with termites in the beach community, where we are located. Their approach was more appropriate than the previous company I had used because they dealt with the entry point and places around the structure. It was an aggressive solution to addressing the subterranean termites. My experience with Pacific Coast Termite was phenomenal. They were on time, showed up when they said they would, and charged me what they said it would cost. There were structural issues that came up during the treatment but Pacific Coast Termite solved the problems in a very professional manner and everything was ready in time for the new tenant's arrival. How a company reacts to a situation when it happens is what sets them apart from their competitors. Previously, I had used a different termite company to treat the same problem and they had treated the property 4 times in one year and not solved the issue. With Pacific Coast Termite, everything worked out beautifully. Their can-do approach and widespread application addressed whatever colony there was and then sealed off the area so that it would not continue. Not only did Pacific Coast Termite do an amazing job but they guaranteed the internal integrity for 2 years. I am going to recommend them to everyone I know. more

We decided to use Pacific Coast Termite because it was cheaper than getting our house tented and 100-percent more convenient. The prospect of tenting is so awful in terms of what you have to do with your food and plants. We had heard a lot about orange oil treatment on the radio and liked the fact that we did not have to leave the house while Pacific Coast Termite did the work. Everyone we dealt with, from the owner and inspector to the people who treated the house, was far above the caliber of your average workers. The inspector who came out was very thorough, much more so than the tenting people. He also was informative, helpful, and pleasant. The 2 guys who did the work were 2 of the most polite, clean, and decent workers I have ever had in the house. They put everything back exactly as it was and cleaned up well afterward. Also, we had just gotten new carpets and they wore protective covering on their shoes the entire time. They did not create a mess. It has been 2 weeks since Pacific Coast Termite treated the house and we have not seen any sign of termites. Not only was it less expensive than tenting but they gave us a better warranty as well. more

I knew that I had termites in several different residences that I own and I wanted to use orange oil to treat the houses. Pacific Coast Termite did such a good job on the first house that I had them do the other 3 as well. They are very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. They cleaned up well after themselves and did not leave any handprints on the overhead crawl spaces. They also made sure that they filled all of the holes that they had drilled. I am very pleased with their customer relations and their response time. They made sure that they knew who they were working with and they were good about coming back when they needed to. Having taught personnel management at the junior college level, I felt that Pacific Coast Termite did an excellent job of establishing and maintaining customer relationships throughout the process. I thought Pacific Coast Termite was great. They did a thorough and professional job treating my attic, the crawl space below the house, and other affected areas where they found termites. I looked at other companies but decided to use them because they seemed better equipped than their competitors. Their inspector who came out was very thorough and found affected areas that the other guys did not. They also found areas that should not have been marked. I was happy with the technicians who came to treat the house. They knew what they were doing and did not leave a big miss. more

Pacific Coast Termite is committed to providing a high level of professional and quality service. They are a good organization with some quality people on their team. It is hard for me to assess the effectiveness of their solution, mainly because I cannot see the areas in my attic where I had the most problems. However, Pacific Coast Termite provides you with a level of assurance so that you can be confident that if you have any other infestations, they are going to come back and treat them. I decided to use Pacific Coast Termite after my initial conversation with James, the owner. He took a lot of time to answer my questions and tell me about the pros and cons of the treatment. He was straight with me in terms of what it would and would not do. After talking to James, I felt that I could make an informed decision. Justin, the technician who came out and treated my house, was great. However, when I tried to follow up with him about some infestations that I saw after the treatment, he was not responsive. I contacted the owner and found out that Justin had relocated to another office. The next 2 people who followed up with me were great -- very responsive. In particular, my experience with the last technician I worked with, Mauro, definitely enhanced my confidence in Pacific Coast Termite. Mauro was punctual, professional and thorough. He even helped me to move a heavy, framed mirror that was close to the affected area. After he treated the area, he assisted in rehanging the mirror. I was so impressed with him that I sent an email to the owners. I would recommend Pacific Coast Termite. I think that they offer the right type of solution for this time in our planet's history. It is a fabulous alternative to putting a tent over your house and filling it with poisonous gas that undoubtedly gets in your fabrics. Also, they offer an ongoing maintenance component -- I believe it is a 2-year warranty. For a nominal fee, you can continue that warranty indefinitely, which is a no-brainer. I am so happy I called Pacific Coast Termite! During escrow, we previously paid another inspector $150 for just a report. He said that he found $2000 worth of damage that needed to be fixed. Wanting a second opinion, I called Pacific Coast and Frank came out to do a FREE inspection and said he did not find any evidence of termites!!! He even rechecked the spots that the $150 report mentioned and said that he totally disagreed with the other inspector. WOW! We should have called Pacific Coast in the first place. We really respect this company since it seems that of all people the free inspector would be the most likely to want to find termites so that they could make some money. Obviously, Pacific Coast is not that kind of business! We would highly recommend them and will call them first if we have any other termite needs. more

We decided to use Pacific Coast Termite because they are a green company. I did not want toxic chemicals in our home. Also, by using Pacific Coast Termite, we did not have to tent and leave our home. Our experience with them was absolutely wonderful. We were very happy with the inspector and the 2 technicians who came out to do the work. Another thing that I loved about them was that they were quick. I did not have to wait a month to get an appointment. I had an appointment with the inspector within a week or 2 after I called them and the work was scheduled for a couple days after that. They did a wonderful job. Gabino and Tony were very thorough when they came to our house last Saturday. We'd emptied garage shelves to allow them access to all the wood in the garage, which they treated. They used garage walls to block termite entrance instead of using the livingroom side of the wall. They were very friendly and eager to make sure we were satisfied with their work. more

We are very pleased with the results of the service, the great price, andthe exceptional level of professionalism of the staff. We have several pets and I didn't want to use the conventional types of termite treatment for safety reasons. After the initial treatment, by Dan & Brian who were super, we replaced the old wood with new wood they came out and sprayed the new wood. I know we will continue the service after the warranty expires because of the great service and no termite results!!! Thanks Guys! more
