This is the coolest place I have ever seen. And what awesome staff, they really got us hooked up at the clubs. The hotel, every detail has been hit. From historic to contempory modern. And fresh bread at breakfast, the butter just melted on top. The bathrooms felt like something out of Architecture Digest. And the beds have arms that just keep hugging you. Ready for the Holidays 12/11/2002

Wow! I love your christmas tree. I have never seen anything like it, the huge ornaments and the umbrellas are fantastic! I would love to know who decorated it your lobby they did a wonderful job. Our stay at the chelsea was wonderful and very relaxing. Monica outside with the manicures and pedicures, the free cocktail hour. Your entire staff is very friendly. This is a funky little hotel, in a great location, but it's got some quirks about it as well. The good: It's in a perfect place, an easy walk to the beach or shopping. The free airport shuttle worked, and was there when we needed it. The beds are very comfortable, and the furnishings in the rooms are fairly high end. Hotel staff was friendly. The Bad: Some rooms back up to an alley. Our room was one of them. It was loud, in fact very loud, at 5am. We had a wakeup call come 1 hour and 10 minutes late, the day of our departure. The only reason given was ""sorry, we're busy"" The ""industrial"" bathroom design makes it impossible to shower without soaking the entire bathroom floor. One day housekeeping just forgot to clean our room. Another they cleaned it, but didn't leave any towels in the bathroom. Pros: cheap, close to beach, nice beds Cons: loud alley near rooms, showers create a mess, front desk needs help more

LIVE DJ 12/4/2002

I loved South Beach! The sun, beach, water, people. The area has such young energy. I am from Chicago right now we have snow and cold weather all over the place..it was great to get away. The Chelsea was fantastic. Live D.J playing house music until 2am on their front porch. Manicures and pedicures during the day. Staff was very friendly always greeting us with a smile. The beds are amazing. Even though the rooms are small they have made great use of the space. I love the down comforters and pillows. Thank you Simon, Steve, and Janice you were all very helpful. We will be Back!! The Olsen two more
