My overall feeling about the Hotel Shelley is rather neutral. The location is very convenient to the beach and the rest of the south beach area. The lobby is taseful enough and so too are the rooms, but the aforementioned dirty halls and dim lights lend an air of sleeziness to it. We found the linen to be very clean and fresh and the bathroom also clean and nicely remodeled. All electronics worked well except that the room was lit by one bulb. The staff was wonderful and the price was a bargain. (booked through Hotwire) The eclectic , friendly staff, along with the bargain price might be enough to make us return to the Hotel Shelley. Pros: staff, clean linen, location Cons: dim, dirty halls, dimly lit room, no elevator more

We had a great time at the Chelsea Hotel. We especially enjoyed the comfortable bedding! The amenities were excellent and well thought out. We will defintitely stay there again on our next rip out to Miami! Thank you very much! Liliana Ramirez more
