Review content:
This is a funky little hotel, in a great location, but it's got some quirks about it as well. The good: It's in a perfect place, an easy walk to the beach or shopping. The free airport shuttle worked, and was there when we needed it. The beds are very comfortable, and the furnishings in the rooms are fairly high end. Hotel staff was friendly. The Bad: Some rooms back up to an alley. Our room was one of them. It was loud, in fact very loud, at 5am. We had a wakeup call come 1 hour and 10 minutes late, the day of our departure. The only reason given was ""sorry, we're busy"" The ""industrial"" bathroom design makes it impossible to shower without soaking the entire bathroom floor. One day housekeeping just forgot to clean our room. Another they cleaned it, but didn't leave any towels in the bathroom.
Pros: cheap, close to beach, nice beds
Cons: loud alley near rooms, showers create a mess, front desk needs help
