COSMO, COSMO, COSMO!! 2/26/2003

I wanted a wild weekend getaway with my boyfriend. We booked the COSMOPOLITAN jacuzzi suite at the Chesterfield, and lets just say, I am rebuilding my house. They had chilled Champagne, rose petals, and bubbles all ready for us. The room faces famous Collins Avenue and is all open with cool glass dividers. Very Contemporary. Everyone should try it! I got what I wanted, WILD! and lots of fun. Pros: Open, Style, Design Cons: none, none, none more

toilet is exposed in room like prison 2/23/2003

Room cost $240 and there was no wall separating bathroom from rest of hotel room (302). Exposed toilet in the room and when I checked out, almost immediately, they charged me for the second night because of 72 hour noticification rule. I arrived at 4 in the morning with my wife saw the toilet and decided to leave after sleeping for a couple of hours. I assumed they would get me for the first night even if I wallked out. So slept for a couple of hours and found another hotel and checked out of the Chesterfield at 10 am. They then informed me that i would have to pay for the 2nd night. By the way, around the corner was the Waldorf Towers, small friendly hotel with cool little bar and lobby and porch with tables right on Ocean Drive. They let me check in at 7am. more

Thank you 2/14/2003

Jenice.... Thank you we all enjoyed your hotel mmensely. Your staff was friendly and always helpful. We especially than Daniel for his exceptiona care when recommending restaurants and clubs and his attention to detail such as calling ahead and getting us reservations. It was very impresive and made a good stay a great one! Once again than you for the incredible service, and we look forward to return as soon as possible... Natalie Cardoza Fagundes more

Nice place, but not worth the $$$$ 2/4/2003

Hotel Chelsea was a nice spot to stay in while I was in Miami last weekend. I really enjoyed my stay, however, the rooms are very small and the lighting is terrible in the rooms and hallways. I was terrified to walk alone after a night of partying. Also, I paid $200 a night and had to pay $2 for a bottle of water located in the refrigerator in my room and $1 for a pack of M&M's. You would have thought that this would be included.. But anyway, its a nice place to chill, but next time, I will stay at the Loews.... Pros: nice drinks, very intimate, friendly staff Cons: poor lighting in room, very small, not worth $200 a nt. more

Thank You... 1/30/2003

Jeenise, Thank you. We had such a special weekend at your hotel. Thank you for helping Brian with the arrangements I walked into the room and started to cry.....it was beautiful. The candles, the rose petals, the champagne and chocolates...I was speechless. He has never done anything like that before. Even though your rooms are smaller than what i normally I am use too the decorated did a wonderful job. Very comfortable and sexy. Your staff very friendly and helpful. Again I just wanted to thank you for everything you did. Sincerely, Pamela Adams more

A stylish hotel at a great value 1/29/2003

Stayed here with 2 friends for 3 nights. Good location near tons of shops & restaurants, 1 block from beach. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms clean & attractive but needed towel bars, a wastebasket, & more space to store clothes! Bathrooms nice but water pressure on the trickle-y side. Cocktail hr and breakfast a great bonus. Airport shuttle 1/2 hr late. Overall not as upscale as their website might suggest but very comfortable. Pleasant stay & hope to return. Pros: location, white everything Cons: noisy (thin doors), lack of furniture more
