Be ready for a long wait for pretty mediocre food 3/6/2006

This place has a great ambience, it's trendy and well decorated, I only wish I could say the food and service was as good - but it's not! I had the Parsnip soup (too sweet) and the Thai bouillabaisse (very mediocre) As for the service, we waited 20 minutes between courses, then waited 10 minutes for the valet to bring our car around. Since they are fairly new, perhaps the service can be fixed but the food isn't worth going back for. Pros: decor Cons: food, long wait be more

Don't go here if you are looking for great food 3/2/2006

The ambiance and decor of this place is interesting. The crowd is young and hip. However, the food and the decor do not match. The nice decor masks the poorly made dishes. I was expecting something with a more asian flare but I only got typical american food. I tried the steak and egg which was recommended. However, the meat was tough without any flavor and the eggs greasy. If you are just looking for drinks, I think the restaurant is fine. Not recommended if you are a true food lover. cute place, good drinks (cuchi cuchi drinkmaster now works the bar here!), they have a pumpkin truffle drink that is really interesting, but best - they have chili flavored popcorn at the bar. good crowd too. more

Taste & Live the East in the West 2/22/2006

Finally I can dine in Boston and feel like dining in another country rich with culture. Unlike most resturants in Boston the setting is extremely romantic, try sitting in the VIP lounge. The food especially the steak and eggs so tender it literally melts in your mouth. The light and water effects are relaxing. We were greeted by the Owner and was giving a tour of the resturant which made us feel like VIPs...u dont see that often....it's worth another visit...oh, by the way try the sugar daddy drink, it will boost u up!! seriously more

WOW, Finally.this is what harvard square has been waiting for. the most scrumptious food you will ever taste with an elgant and classy look and a blend of nepalease historic arts and work. this place is unique and you will find no other like it, in harvard square. i went there on valentines day with my date and yes i was impressed. the rose petals on the table, the food breath taking especially the chicken dish. the service was more than expected you will not regret. the only thing is that u need reservation ahead of time more

Spectacular food and great atmosphere! 2/21/2006

As I walked into the restaurant I felt like I was entering a high end restaurant in Manhattan or Las Vegas. This is what Boston/Cambridge was missing! While I was waiting for a table I sat down at the lounge and had a Fred and Ginger and I must say that it was the best I had. Hats off to the mixologist. When my table was ready I decided to order Steak and Egg and it was fabulous. No wonder its the talk of the town. For desert I had the Trio of Cream Burley and it was quite the peace of heaven. I cant imagine how someone can write a bad review for OM (Must be the competition) more

This is absolutely the best lounge ever. Wood-carved walls, the water fixtures, the lightning provide a calming vibe and an ideal setting for a relaxing night out. The dirty martinis I had were only topped by the exciting conversation I was having with my friends. After the drinks we went upstairs for dinner. I had the east vs. west oysters, followed by the seared scallops. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Sensual, Romantic and Delish! 2/21/2006

What a gorgeous place! Someone told me a slice of Nirvana - I have to agree. The Tibetan artwork, waterfalls, and stone scuptural walls set a beautiful environment. We loved the Lavendar infused Cosmo - and they make a slammin' Mojito! Upstairs, the restaurant is just right - good spacing on the tables for privacy, and just the right noise level for intimate conversation. We had the Thai Bouillabaise (5 Stars!) and starters of ""grilled cheese & tomato soup"" (try it! Trust me!) and duck (also fabulous). Highly recommended. Rough start but overall great. 2/20/2006

Had a reservation for 8 but when we arrived the table wasn't ready. The first table they sat us at was not good. The host sincerely apologized when he realized we weren't happy and found us a much better table. Despite that, the service was excellent, the food was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. Tried the raw oysters which were amazing and they had the best fois gras. Also had the duck and the steak and eggs. Everything was great and had interesting flavors. Would definitely go again. Great Date place! Young, middleaged, old 2/20/2006

I just went there after watching a review on the phantom Gourmet. The food was delicous, we ended up having the steak and eggs. It was very nice presentation. The drinks were very good also we had the Lilac Martini, and it was excellent. Service was good, the only thing was our waitress kept hounding us when we told her we were just taking our time. From odering drinks, to dessert she was quite annnoying. But service was very nice beside that. The architecture was simply delightful. They even have valet parking for $12.00 Pros: layout was nice, excellent food, good drinks Cons: service was bothersom more

DONT BOTHER! 2/14/2006

the food was horrific, the service down right nasty and the setting dull. This was the worse way to spend a Saturday night. The portions were less than satisfactory and the prices extremely high. I had the salmon which was smaller than a playing card, with a smear of mash potato and it set me back $34. WHAT A WASTE!!!!!! I wouldnt even bother going for the drinks, the bar was crowded and the seating was awkward and the the drinks werent even that great!! I got the Lavender Cosmo and it tasted like a badly made cosmo (sans Lavender essence) and was over priced! more

NICE PLACE - HORRIBLE FOOD 2/5/2006

If you are looking for a place to have a martini and lounge for a couple of hours, this is a good place. Don't, however, eat there. The food was tasteless, and it took an hour and 15 minutes for the food to arrive. We had the chicken (you are better off going to KFC) and the Pork, which was ok - a little on the spicy side. Overall, go if you are around Harvard Sq. and want a nice, relaxing place to grab a drink. Otherwise, there are better places to go to. Pros: Ambience, Drinks Cons: Food, Service, Price more
