While having access to the Emerald aisle seems like a perk, I was disappointed to have a very limited selection of vehicles- every one of them absolutely fithly. The paper on the dash apologized for the disgusting condition saying it was too cold to wash them. I dont buy it- I live in Michigan and wash my car despite the temps. There was no one to assist me loading my luggage into the car- so my white dress coat and heels were dirty by the time I loaded up :( Additionally the gas tank was a less than half!! Who wants to start a business trip filling up before I can even get started??? When I mentioned all of this at the return of my car- I was told they were giving me two free personal rental days. I called about a week later to book a car for an upcoming trip to Miami and of course, they have no record of ANY free days. Horrible experience and terrible cusotmer service. Not impressed to say the least more

I always prefer National Car Rental whether it's for business or pleasure. The convenience of simply picking up the vehicle in the Emerald aisle is a big bonus. When needed, the National staff is always courteous and helpful. more

A fantastic car rental location at the Denver Airport. Cars are significantly cheaper than the other car rental brands that are in proximity, but the quality of the cars is the same. I rented a very low mileage souped up SUV. I walked off the shuttle and got in a car and was off the lot three minutes later. more

Just joined the Emerald Club, and it was the best car rental experience I have had. Arrived late in Denver on a snowy night. I reserved an SUV, and it was waiting for me, set aside - took all of two minutes to hop off the shuttle and into my car. On return, e-recipts allowed us to jump out of the car and onto the shuttle. Car was clean and good quality. I will use them again, for sure! more

Always happy with the customer service of National Car Rental, even if there is an issue. They work to resolve it and make sure that I am satisfied (doesn't happen very often)! Kadesha at Customer Support was extremely kind and understanding and took care of a problem I had with a quick response and appropriate solution! The worst experience ever... Upon picking up my vehicle, the guy at counter offered a upgrade... When going through the pricing, he wasn't quite clear. I understood something totally different. So once I dropped off my vehicle 4 days later I almost fell back. I was 100 dollars a day in addition to the normal charges... I understood a flat fee of 100.00 dollars. When I expressed my concerns to the manager she showed no interest at all. No interest in trying to resolve this complete misunderstanding..... It wasn't like I was asking her to void my charges or something. At best an apology would have done... Rude and direct is all I received.. All of this, for a basic Nissan Altima... I understand if I upgraded to a high end vehicle or something... Never again.. I would like to leave the stars blank, but unfortunately I have to pick 1 star more

Rented a SUV 4wd for our Breckenridge boys annual ski trip. Got a real good deal plus the vehicle was a perfect size for the four of us. The 4WD came in handy cause there was a lot of snow! Just what we wanted! The attendents were wonderful. We just went to the booth they brought the vehicle to us. Even helped load our luggage. Only complaint I have is that there was no ice scrapper in the car, and we needed it! more

I really like being able to choose my car. My latest rental had less than 400 miles on it, still had the new car smell. BUT, it did not have a snow/ice scrapper and we did get a bit of snow :( I brought it to the attendants attention, hopfully they put one in before the next person rented the car. That is pretty minor, overall, I am very pleased with the service and the cars. more

National Rental at DIA is always a breeze. You walk from the bus to the outside kiosk and an attendant provides help. In my last visit they brought the car to the curb. Amazing!!!!!! more

I had a great experience renting with National at DIA. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful. I got to the rental lot quickly, was able to choose the car I wanted, and was driving away 5 minutes later! Returning the car was even easier (no decisions to make)! more

Being an Emerald Club member it is easy to get the car you want and be on your way. The Airport rental location is a ways from the terminal so make sure you have plenty of time to catch your flight. If you haven[t joined the National Club do so before your trip it will save you time more

National Car rental at Denver Airport is amazing. I had a car accident not far from the airport and they were really wonderful. I was back at the airport in an hour and was in a new car within 15 minutes. The staff was caring and all asked if I was OK. I would definately recommend National. more

The service desk help was excellent and the car was perfect for our needs. The transportation driver from the rental property to the airport was rude and unhelpful. He did not help with the bags, never set a hand on one of them. He never spoke. He made only one stop at the front the departures entrances at the airport and only spoke when someone asked which airline the stop was for. He said ""all of them"". When we got inside the terminal our airline was at the opposite end of the check in gates which added additional unnecessary walking for my Husband that had a recent hip replacement surgery. It is unfortunate that our last impression from National was this employee. more
