Respect for my time 6/12/2011

How thoughtful it was to receive a phone call to let me know that my hair stylist was running 15 minutes late. Who even considers 15 minutes to be late? Instead of sitting and waiting, I was able to run an errand prior to my appointment. more

Pretty and Polished 6/11/2011

As always, I leave Nuovo feeling better than when I came in. My stylist and her assistant not only use great products on my hair but do a thorough job of making my hair fabulous. An added bonus for me is that after the shampoo I can count on an incredible head massage. Courteous receptionists go out of their way to schedule appointments that work for me. more

Excellent. Kate did a great job, very efficient, fantastic shampoo and message. Water temperature was perfect, couldn't even feel it, message pressure was perfect. Always a fun experience at Nuovo and today was an other special treat. Great job Kate! more

Always professional, cordial, on time and fantastic service! Great color and cut. I love Madison; when needed all the stylists, and assistants are excellent. I always know I can depend on the well trained staff ant any Aveda Salon throughout the country; but I am partial to my hometown crew! My highly stylized bob is always perfect and I get complements consistently, even when grown out. Everyone loves my "feather" peek-a-boo! See you soon, Karen Pariser more

My worst fear came true 6/8/2011

I have been a client of Julie's for over a year.I asked for a short haircut and left with holes in my hair that I could not hide with a pony tail. I was so embarrased to go in public. I did not even get to speak with anyone at the salon for 3 days. I asked for a refund because I had to get my hair fixed some where else. They said that it is not our policy to give a refund. Julie never called me herself to discuss this even though I thought we had built some sort of relationship. Her styling tools never could get my hair straight either. I have wavy caucasion hair that I flat iron very flat myself at home. I actually always felt sorry for her that she could not syle hair and would go home and fix it myself. I also witnessed another woman, with a different stylist, leaving disappointed the last day I was there. She took the comb and starting teasing her own hair. I thought Julie was nice but lacks in skill. "Julie, you lack confidence to be good at this job. You are unsure of yourself." This salon does not live up to the reputation they have built. more

HUGE Nuovo Fan!! 6/2/2011

Honestly, Nuovo is the best salon in my experience. For many years, I have been to T&G Salons in Texas, and have been through more than my share of salons here in SRQ. You run a VERY tight ship and I always have a wonderful experience with every one of your stellar staff! Of course, I am partial to my Leann. Yes, she IS mine! haha I even noticed how great the hair looks on SNN! Great job all around and I truly thank God for finding Nuovo, James, Leann, and all of the great folks you have at the Landings location. Don't change ANYTHING! Well, OK, maybe one thing. Make your smocks warmer! haha Thanks for the opportunity to give you my feedback. NUOVO ROCKS! more

By far the best hair salon in town. 6/2/2011

Just came from getting a new hair smoothing treatment from the amazing Liz at Nuovo. Going to Nuovo is always an incredible experience - relaxing, fun and you leave feeling beautiful. I heard the lady next to me saying that the hair color at Nuovo is the only one she knows that always looks natural and the color always lasts. So anyway.... THANK YOU Nuovo!!! more
