I began my healthier body plan, June 08. I was not too concerned with the numbers on the scale, I wanted a healthier body.\r Since working with Nyrene, I am seeing amazing changes to my body. She pushes me out of my comfort zone. In the beginning I would say"" I can't do that!"" and "" You want me to do what?"". I promised myself Jan. 09 to never say those words again and cheat myself out of a good workout. Thank you Ny, I thank you and my body loves you. Pros: Best trainer ever! more

Nyrene is simply amazing. I was referred to her by a close friend and I am so glad I did it. I've been training with her for a little while now and she has really helped me overcome my aversion to exercise with her motivating and supportive training! My journey towards living a healthier life and transforming my shape began in 2005 when I was referred to Nyrene and her company “N-Training” by a neighborhood couple I know who live in San Francisco’s Sunset District. I was at an extremely low point with my body image and ready for change. My weight was creeping up and even more importantly than the numbers on the scale—I was starting to feel really unhealthy. Nyrene was my catalyst! She and I worked together to set realistic fitness goals that would take me from flabby to toned. I have always admired women with really toned arms (think Jennifer Aniston!) and ready to lean out. Today, I’ve lost 15 pounds and now find myself occasionally flexing my biceps when I pass by the mirror in my hallway. How cool is that? Until I started training with Nyrene, I was completely clueless about how to even go about getting into shape—and doing it safely and properly. Now, when I work out on my own, I have the confidence that I’m performing the exercises properly and know how to maximize my time Today, I feel healthy, I look better in my clothes and just recently bought a skimpy white bikini for the beach that I will wear with confidence. Great motivator! 9/26/2007

What can I say that hasn't been said already? Nyrene is a great motivator and extremely knowledgeable at what she does. Her ""Bootycamp"" class is the best exercise class around, both in terms of the length and quality of the workout. It's time well spent, especially if you have a busy schedule. I'd rather spend one hour in ""Bootycamp"" than an hour in the gym. The fact that she hold the classes outside means you also get some fresh air while getting healthy. Run, don't walk, to sign up for Nyrene's class today! Pros: Outdoor exercize! Cons: Parking is sometimes difficult. more

friendly, professional, competent, effective 9/25/2007

My wife, daughter and I met Nyrene 4 years ago when our daughter (then aged 14) researched the web for a trainer to help her get to the next level of fitness for club and high school soccer. She found Nyrene's site and signed up for one-on-one sessions. Shortly after we saw super results in our daughter's fitness, strength, agility and speed, my wife and I signed up for couples' sessions. Later, I joined Nyrene's bootycamp, her group sessions. Since we met Nyrene, we all have gained fitness and health. Nyrene is an expert on fitness and exercise. It's clear that she has put in huge effort and time to become a competent professional. Her sessions are tailored to the needs of her clients. She is a great coach and cheerleader. She is physically fit and is an inspiring example. She's warm, personable and friendly, never coming off as an arrogant know-it-all even though she has the credentials to act like one. She knows how to vary the sessions so that all muscle groups are covered and so that staleness doesn't set in. She is expert at combining core and cardio exercises with strength training. Thanks to Nyrene, I can play a full-field, full 90 minute soccer game at age 50, something i could not do at age 40. I'll never forget her for that.\r more

Bootycamp Bliss 7/16/2007

\r \r I joined Nyrene?s summer bootycamp for a jump start to my workout/ health regime. After bootycamp ended I made sure to hire her on as my personal trainer. I find myself doing new exercises each time we meet as well as toning my body and getting noticeably more fit. Her ability to create routines to match my body needs and strengths is extremely beneficial. She has the ?can do? attitude that makes one want to impress her. My eating habits have changed and I find her meal plans easy to follow. I have since recommended her to friends and family. Nyrene is an inspiration on how to lead a fit, healthy and happy lifestyle. I highly enjoy meeting with her weekly. The hour sessions fly by and I am a more confident in my daily life.\r more

Effective, fun, and educational training! 7/25/2006

Nyrene is fantastic, and I would (and already have!) recommend her to anyone. She's got a great, upbeat personality and encourages you to accomplish physical feats you'd never realized you were capable of before. The workouts are varied and creative, so you never get bored, and Nyrene shares lots of interesting information about exercise physiology so you not only know what you're doing but why you're doing it! And boy, is she effective - I can't believe how much better I feel (and how much more toned I'm getting) after only 9 sessions with her. In fact, I've enjoyed it so much that I just signed up for another 10. Thanks, Nyrene! more

I trained with Nyrene for two years and was in the best shape of my life. Unfortunately, I moved down to the peninsula and now I've gained ten pounds. I rue the day I moved from S.F. and Nyrene!! more

Best trainer 7/23/2006

I have just passed my 200th session with Nyrene. When we met, I had a handicapped sticker and could barely lift a small bag of groceries. I can now do full push ups (never did one in my life before Nyrene), walk easily 6 to 8 miles, and carry 5 to 6 bags of groceries in each hand. She's always punctual, comes with a printed exercise routine, and brings everything you need to your home including a wonderful personality. I would never give up Nyrene so you newcomers will just have to find a space in her schedule as I am not moving.
