Moving made easy 2/7/2011

I was reading reviews and it seems like Movers of the valley was the best out there. So i gave them a call. And i am glad i did, they made my move easy. The website advertises everything the company does. I appreciate having a nice moving company that i can count on right here in the valley. i am going to recommend them to friends and family. more

Wow a great move 2/7/2011

I had an amazing move with Movers of the valley. I really liked how i was able to get the date that i wanted. They gave me a free quote and had no hidden fees at the end of the move. The guys were on time, fast and reliable. I never have to worry about moving again with Movers of the valley. Thanks!.... more

An awesom company 1/28/2011

I just got done moving, and like, Movers from the valley was the best. Those guys were so polite and professional. The truck was on time, the movers came in and got right to work. I like, didn't have to worry about any of my stuff being lost or broken. in the end i like didn't have any new charges or hidden fees. I recommend Movers of the valley to my friends and family. more

Movers of the valley 1/26/2011

I wanted to share my experience and opinion on a recent move. I was tried of browsing through page after page in the phone book. When a friend of mine said try citysearch? I got online and read a few reviews on Movers of the valley. I read positive reviews and quotes and decided to give them a try. Let me start by saying it was awesome! They are commited to reaching customers expectations. They were on time and there employee's are trained professionals. I continued to be impressed with there services and will always use Movers of the valley in the future. more

You guys are the best! 1/8/2011

I just wanted to take the time and tell you what a great job your movers, and your company did for me on Jan. 1st. My move was probably one of the larger ones, and your men did such a good job, that I tipped each one of them 50.00 dollars. They handled the move great, and nothing was damaged. Also we had a piano that I was really worried about, and they handled it like it was easy to them. I don't know where you get these guys, but I will call you anytime we have a move, also I recommend Movers of the Valley, to all of my friends and coworkers. Thanks again, John Anaya more

Terrible business model, terrible ownership 11/4/2010

As the review below states, they get one-star because you cannot give zero. The business model alone begs for poor service. If you charge by the hour, what motivation is there to move fast? Judging by the speed the 70 year old man and his lurch of a companion moved, clearly none. The owner also sent a truck that was so obviously too small for our move I noted it as soon as they pulled up. The movers spent an extra hour to an hour and a half staring at the truck trying to figure out how to get all of our stuff in it. In total, we probably fit 80%, the rest of which I had to rent a u-haul to move, which is what I should have done in the first place. My wife called Tony, the owner, to compalin, and he told her I had stated a bunch of things that were not true (""not a lot of furniture"" ""only moving big stuff"" etc.) which is why he sent a smaller truck. A bunch of lies. more

Move away from these movers 11/2/2010

They get a one star rating because I had to highlight a star, no other reason. The movers themselves were very nice, one was a pro and the other a total newbie and not worth paying $75 an hour for. Tony, the owner, scheduled the move knowing full well the extent of the move and it's requirements yet he sent two guys, one experienced and the other not. After 12 hours of working and being fed by me, we finally sent them home because they were tired and very disorganized from the start, we should've been moved in hours before this time and Tony was being a jerk about it when I contacted him. Needless to say, things were knicked, dishwasher chipped, appliances not fully set in place, our bed fell apart during the night. Do yourself a favor and keep away from this moving company. There are many better and cheaper companies out there that deserve your move! Trust me on this one. more

Finally found a company I can trust. 7/23/2010

I called for a job on 7/17/2010 and scheduled it for Tuesday the 20th. The movers showed up on time. They were very friendly, fast paced, hard working and made sure all of my furniture and belongings had shrink Wrap and blankets and boxed up very nicely. Pros: The move cost me what i was quoted. more

as a single mom of two its hard for me to find a great price at the right time with the right people i moved ^months ago and i looked up online to find a companie that fits my needs... i found movers of the valley on google .. i called the 21st and talked to tony the owner i was so immpressed on how friendly and caring about my needs he was ...i told him i needed to move in two days and he gave me a amazing price.. he said ""right away we will be out and ready to move at 8am"" when the movers got here they were so friendly they even helpd me finsh packing some of my kids thing that i had forgotten to pack up! AWSOME!!! i got packed and moved in about two hours which was less then quoted!!! i recomend this companie to all my friends. i was so pleased to have picked them and hoping for more moves to come!!! THANKS MOVERS OF THE VALLEY!!! Pros: excellent sevice VERY RESPECTFUL more

Speedy Service / Great Movers 5/30/2010

Movers of the Valley was a life-saver! I was almost done moving myself into a 3rd story apartment when I found that I could not get my couch through the doorway! I tried and tried different angles for 2 hours, even tried taking the door off its hidges, but ended up leaving the couch outside over night. I Also managed to poke a hole in the wall. I had resigned to putting the couch for sale on Craigslist but at the same time I loved this piece of furniture and didn't want to give it up. So, I did a Google search and found Movers of the Valley. Two men showed up to my apartment (on a Saturday) within an hour after the call. Even though I kept trying to tell them it was helpless, 10 minutes later the couch was in the apartment. They just walked it right in! The men were so nice and the price was right. I definitely recommend Movers of the Valley and will use them the next time I move as I am done with moving myself. Leave it to the experts! Pros: Friendly, Fast, Prompt, Great Price, Fun Cons: None! more

EXCELLENT SERVICE 9/19/2009

As usual, we received the best service from this company. This is the 3rd time we used Movers of the Valley and every time we have had courteous and professional crews. They take great care in protecting our belongings and best of all they are very reasonable. The owner was very nice and so were the ladies in the office. GREAT MOVERS 9/17/2009

I recently hired these guys to move me from Laveen AZ, to Mesa AZ, and I was so impressed. The two movers where so nice and polite, they arrived right on time. They started working right away and got the job done right. I had never hired movers before so I wasn?t sure what to expect but Irvin and his partner were great. Would not recommend--research issues with this company 1/15/2009

Although the movers showed up promptly with a large truck and were friendly, only one of the movers was experienced--the other seemed new and the more experienced mover was getting annoyed with him. When I asked about moving insurance to protect against damages they said they were not aware of such a thing and that they would be careful and not damage my items. Pros: You get what you pay for--they were the cheapest Cons: No protection if your items get damaged--move at your own risk more

This place has BAD management 8/30/2008

I have had my things in storage at ""movers of The Valley"" in Mesa for 6 months. They are always sending me notices that I didn't pay, when I have. I am constantly proving to them that I am a customer in good standing, I can't get my things out of this place quick enough. Cons: Poorly managed more
