After the immense wind storms we had the other day I had several branches break and catch within other limbs. A little nervous with these hanging over my roof I called Mike's to have them removed. They came the same day and had them removed without anything touching the house. Very appreciative. Thank you. more

We had a dying 60 foot pine removed from our back garden recently and Mike's by far gave us the best estimate. I couldn't believe it could be removed in a day, but the team that came out was incredible. They worked fast and were friendly throughout. I'd definitely recommend them. more

MIKE'S HAND SHAKE AND WORD WERE TOTALLY BAD AFTER THE JOB WAS INCOMPLETE AND A TOTAL MESS AND BROKE A BUNCH OF THINGS IN MY YARD.800.00 TO TRIM A FEW TREE'S AND NOT TO COMPLETE THE JOB AND RUN OFF WAS A RIP OFF.I WAS TOTALLY APALLED ABOUT THIS WHOLE THING,YELLING AT MY WIFE ETC....SINCE DEALING WITH HIM AND HIS CREW, I HAVE HEARD OF MANY MANY OTHER BAD JOB'S HE HAS DONE......GOOD LUCK WITH THIS GUY,TALK TO THE ATTOURNEY GENERAL & BETTER BUSINESS BEFORE YOU USE THIS GUY.....UNBELIEVABLE, I CAN'T BELIEVE HE IS STILL IN BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

I called them to have a tree removed and 2 others pruned. Mikes tree showed up 15 minutes early, other companies left me waiting around. They weren't the cheapest, but seemed to be the best equipped to get the job done and were the most professional. The work was done very fast and I am happy with the results. Would definitely use them again. more

We had no problems with Mike. His office staff was friendly and professional every time we called, and Mike was, too. He came at a time that was convenient to us, gave us a quote, and came back the next day to trim our trees. Everything was done right, and the yard was cleaned of debris. He charged what was quoted and set up an easy payment plan. We are completely satisfied. more

had mike do two other jobs in the past that i was happy with hired him again this spring gave me a quote to remove 3 trees with all debris with his crane and grind stumps. Did not show up on the day scheduled called office mike left the work order on his desk . he called me at 5:20 am on friday to tell me they would be there that day. they showed up aprox. 3pm I left work and arrived home 3:45 to witness them triming and getting ready to remove one of the wrong trees. stopped the crew and showed the foreman the trees marked with orange dots as i was told to do by mike. Long story short they could not use the crane because mike did not get permission from the airport to go over 70 feet that he had done the past 2 jobs. they cut down 2 of the 3 trees with the bucket truck dropping large pieces into my neighbor's yard doing severe damage and then was told it was my responsability to remove all the wood and debris, mostly left in my neighbors yard. Contacted Mike with my concerns and was called a MORON on the phone, then he came to my house and demanded payment in full then began to swear at me in front of my 12 year old daughter. called the police after i asked him to stop swearing and leave my property twice and his response was do something about it! Came to an agreement with the company on a reduced price do to only 2 trees being removed and all the debris being left plus the cost to repair my neighbors yard. paid them, and now received a letter that he suing me. attourney general's office said they have dozen's of similar complaints. more

We had 3 companies come give us quotes. Mike's was the most knowledgeable and reasonable. They spent a lot of time in the yard really checking everything out and pointed out a few things that we would have never noticed. The guys they sent were very professional and courteous. They left the yard just as they found it. Nice people who did great work- I would definitely recommend Mikes! more

I HAD NO IDEA THAT A TREE CUTTING COMPANY WOULD HAVE THE KIND OF SERVICE ONE WOULD NORMALLY RECEIVE IN A FIINE DIINIING ESTABLISHMENT. RESTAURANT STYLE HOSPITALITY FROM GUYS WHO WORK IN A CONSTRUCTION JOB IS NOT THE NORM HERE IN RI. THESE GUYS WERE DEAD ON BALLS ACCURATE FROM SHOW-UP TIME TO PAY-THE-BILL TIME. I CERTAINLY HAVE NEVER BEEN MOVED ENOUGH FROM ANY RI COMPANY TO EVEN BOTHER WRITING A REVIEW OF ANY KIND. BUT I CALL 'EM AS I SEE 'EM. THEY WERE SO NICE TO ME, I WAS COMPELLED TO GIVE A FREEKIN' TIP TO THE FOREMAN. I CALLED 3 COMPANIES FOR ESTIMATES, ALL 3 SHOWED UP, ALL 3 WERE AROUND THE SAME PRICE, ONLY 1 SPOKE ONLY OF THE WORK AND NOT ABOUT THE COMPETITORS. MIKE'S GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF NOT ONLY THE PRICE, BUT ALSO OF COMPLETION TIIME AND WHAT THE CLLIMATE'S IMPACT MIGHT BE LIKE WITH THE TREE GONE FROM MY YARD, INCLUDING DISPLACED BUGS WHICH MAY BE LOOKING FOR A HOME ONCE THE TREE WAS REMOVED AND HOW TO HANDLE THIS. MIKE'S PROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICE WAS A VERY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE.AND THE SHOCKER OF THE YEAR FOR 2011. more

Fabulous work. Prompt and very reasonable estimate. Arrived for the job when they said they would. Courteous, thoughtful, thorough and neat. Were very careful with my other plants and rest of garden. They were efficient and left with the whole area looking great. They have worked for me twice and i wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them highly! more

I just had Mike's cut down 24 trees for me. They had to work around fences septic systems and other obstacles. They did an amazing job. They cleaned everything up did little extra things that I had asked without a gripe. I wanted some fire wood, so they cut and corded for a small fee. more

On Thursday I had Mike's Professional Tree Service remove several stumps that had been sitting for many years in the back woods of my yard. They did a great job getting their equipment into my backyard, removing what was needed to be removed, and also filled the holes so my yard was whole again. I was worried that my yard would be full of tracks, holes, and debris, but they did a great job as to keeping my yard in one piece. more

Had Mike's Tree Service come to my home this week to remove some large limbs before the storm. The temp dropped into the 30's, but it didn't affect the service they provided. Great job. more

I contacted this company after the storm and was quoted a price of $500. By the time his crew took over my yard the price was changed to $3500. He told me to ""relax"" I could pay $50 month with no intrest. He refussed to put anything in writting. He has changed the price I owe three times. When I told him I was going to report him he laughed. He said he has his employees write positive reviews tomake him look good. BEWARE look elesewhere, I warned you so don't blaim anyone but yourself more

This is the second tree service we have used. The first one was a disaster - over priced - left ruts in yard - etc. Mike's Tree Service was fantastic! Good price - they arrived on time - cleaned up each day when they finished! Quality service at an affordable price!! more

After the heavy rains a few days back a tree in my yard snapped in half due to tree rot. MPTS was able to come out to my home the very next day and remove the tree completely. I was happy for the quick turn around and professional service. more
