TOTALLY REJUVENATING 7/9/2011

My daughter and I are members and Mezz Spa, have been for a year now, and just resigned last week for another year. We completely enjoy going to get our monthly pampering, I do the peels, and microdermabrasion mostly - Adrienne is fabulous, and my daughter gets massage. The spa smells great, you feel much better as soon as you walk in, the music is soothing, the candles are lit everywhere. They have extra perks they treat you to, like the softening hand treatment, or the hand massage - I love those, it makes me feel so good right before my facial on a warm massage bed in a candle -lit room. This spa is a great place for pampering - and they have great deals all the time. If you're looking to find a great spa in Alpharetta, and the surrounding area, check them out, you'll love it. more

BUYERS PLEASE DON'T BE DETERRED BY A HANDFUL OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS: LIKE THE ONE BELOW HER WHO CAME IN 35 MINUTES LATE FOR HER SCHEDULED APPT. ON JULY 1, CLAIMING SHE AND HER HUSBAND WERE STUCK IN TRAFFIC AND DEMANDED 1HOUR SERVICE- this is not fair to our next client, to have to wait. Please customers, understand that we sold massive amount of vouchers, our spa is very busy, and we promise and have accommodated every single client unless they were: a no-show, arrived late and expected to receive a full service, or tried to schedule their vouchers after the expiration date. Please buyers, understand that a small handful of SAME PEOPLE are writing bad reviews on every single site. We are very busy, have been in business for longer than 4 years, and have many customer referrals. The staff is not rude, the owner is not rude, we adhere to standard spa policies - and WE ADHERE TO THE GROUPON POLICIES THAT ARE WRITTEN ON EVERY VOUCHER. A confirmation email is sent to everyone we schedule and our spa policy on attendance is listed. Very rude owner poor customer service 7/2/2011

I purchased a Groupon for this spa and was very disappointed in the customer service that I received. The Groupon was for a 1 hour couples massage. After calling for weeks, someone finally picked up the phone so I could schedule an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I called the spa and told them that I was running late for my appointment due to a family emergency that occurred earlier in the day. They told me that they couldn't reschedule and just to come. Upon arrival my husband and I were surprised to see that they don't offer couples massages, just a discount for 2 different massages at 1 time. They also told me that the 1 hour massage that I purchased would only be 20 minutes. The managing director and owner Alisa Lakisic was very rude and said there was nothing she could do because she pays her therapist on commission. She said that it didn't matter that I called to explain I was running late and tried to reschedule. When I asked her why she falsely advertised, she did not respond and just looked at me as if she didnt speak or understand English. I would definitely advice not to come to this spa as they falsely advertise and have poor customer service. The owner received prepaid funds for the services that she did not care or intend to deliver. more

If you look carefully on the reviews, the same people are writing the same old ""good"" reviews on all sites such as Yelp, Atlanta City Search, Kudzu, etc.... I wonder what kind of incentive they received for writing good reviews about this amateur act of a spa. First, I would like to address that I did not buy a Groupon/Living Social/Half Off Depot package. I would like to get straight to the point. Pros: NONE Cons: Unethical management, unworthy deals, tired massage therapists, unsanitary esthetician (awful cigarette breath), and unaccommodating owner. If I were them, I'd close for a year. Let the bad reputation die down a bit. Hire new management. This place deserved zero stars if that was an option. I place blame on the management/owner who is Alisa Lakisic, she is a very rude, uneducated person who has no class. Please do not support this individual. There are a lot of other spas that make their clients a priority, this is the least of her concerns. In these tough economical times, people are looking for good quality services that are worth EVERY penny. It speaks volumes when workers do not respect the owner. They are probably just trying to make ends meet and deal with whatever BS that goes around in this place. I can feel every single angry emotion from all the people who wrote bitter reviews. The owner did not address any of their problems either. All she did was post 1 review that was completely irrelevant to complaints. Please be a smart consumer. Read your reviews before you ever purchase anything online. It would be a disservice if I didn't take the time to explain to people why this place left a bad taste in my mouth. If the owner would take accountability for her actions, it would certainly be a different atmosphere. Spend your money somewhere else people of Alpharetta! more

GREAT QUALITY MASSAGE, GREAT SPA! 3/28/2011

Great spa, my wife and I purchased Groupon and received couples massages on Sat. By far the best spa in Alpharetta in quality of service, I like to receive massages regularly since I coach a small league baseball team. They also have a monthly services at somewhat discounted prices. We will definitely be back. The spa smelled great and everyone was pleasant. more

Very Pleasant Experince 3/27/2011

My sister and I went there recently for 3 hours pampering services and used our Half Off Depot coupons. They could not confirm my sister's coupon and the owner was very nice and tried to work with us and let us use their computer to try and get the right number of the coupon. She could not retrieve it and since it was a Saturday, we couldn't reach half off depot people. The owner was so polite and offered us the same price of the coupon that I paid for, otherwise these 3 hrs worth of services would have been 420 bucks for my sis. We asked them to try and resolve this issue with half off depot and to get the refund once we provide the valid number. They said sure. Sure enough my sister called next week provided them the voucher number, and got the refund. We were so impressed with everything and decided to plan our friend Jen's bachelorette party there. Thank you Mezz Spa for your hospitality and great services. We can't wait to come back. more

The Best Spa in Alpharetta 3/26/2011

I've been going to Mezz Spa for almost three years, and have been treating myself to 2 services monthly, and I cannot say anything but the best about this spa. The whole staff and the owner are always pleasant. Watch out for their email specials, and they don't skimp on their services. I brought them two of my girlfriends, and would recommend them anytime. I don't get why some of the groupon users are hating on this spa and call the owner disresepectful, this girl is always sweet and nice, and very very smart. These groupon users are expecting too much considering what they paid for the service. more


HORRIBLE!!! 3/17/2011

TERRIBLE experience!! Do not go here. Do NOT purchase groupons, living social, etc. for this spa! Its impossible to get an appointment. the owner is completely UNPROFESSIONAL, mean, disrespectful, doesn't care about her staff, business, or the clients. Even the massage therapists agreed with how unprofessional the owner is. It took me months to get an appointment, they had the time, treatments, and day of week incorrect. the owner didn't try to solve anything and yelled at me. once we finally went for our package the owner wasn't there to open the building. all the therapist were locked out waiting outside in the cold along with 3 clients. owner showed up 10 minutes late with no apology. the only thing she said was she got her period and had cramps. she then went on to be rude, gave no eye contact, and offered incorrect services. she yelled at the clients to keep their voices down while in the lobby even though we were the only ones there. she told the therapists that we could still have an hour treatment even though she was late. as we were leaving we stopped at the desk to leave our tip and she was rude and yelled at us again. We will NEVER go back. Word of mouth is the best referral DO NOT EVER GO HERE!! more

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!! 2/21/2011

If I had the option of giving 0 stars I would. I called Mezz Spa to book a massage for a groupon I had gotten. The first availability wasnt for a month. I booked it anyway. I waited til it got closer to my appointment and waited for a comfirmation call. After not recieving one I called them and realized I had missed my appointment. I appolgized and felt terrible and asked to reschedule. Lissa, the manager, simply said""no"". She said it was their policy to not rebook you if you did not ""show up "" to your appointment. I explained I was looking for a new place for a massage and I really would like to try them. Again, ""no"". I calmly said I would never come there. she responded by says""she would never want to to come there either and hung up the phone. more
