Very Poor Service 8/7/2013

Just moved to the bay area and was looking for a dealership to have factory service done on my 2010 Tundra. Melody Toyota was the closest so decided to give them a try. I really wish now that I would have done a little research I could have saved myself a whole lot of grief and frustration. My flip up screen on my nav unit was a little sticky and needed a little help opening from time to time so I wanted to get it replaced while still under warranty. When my appointment came they had no record of an appointment and so I had to come back. When I came back for my next appointment they dented and scratched my door. After having it in their shop for a week it came back without the side molding and the nav screen did not work. Well I think you get the idea, do yourself a favor and go to Putnam Toyota they have much better reviews...... more

I Don't Think So 7/10/2010

I stopped in to look at the RAV4. I felt like there were so many salesman hanging around it was very uncomfortable. They were leaning on cars and talking with each other. They did not act or look professionally. I left and would not go back even if they did have good prices. more

Rude and Clueless 1/3/2010

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I called today to ask about a 2000 Lexus ES300 they had advertised on cars.com. I was put through to Robert who interrupted my every other word. I continued speaking with him because I was very interested in the car and had spent a fair amount of time researching the year/model for reliability. He assured me the car had not been sold and suggested I call his cell phone before heading over to make sure it was still there before I drove all the way down (I was coming from Concord). I did as he suggested and called his cell phone and he again confirmed the car was still available. I spent 45 minutes driving down there and when I got there, another man tried to help me. I let him know who I was waiting for and the car I was interested in. It turns out this gentleman (not Robert) was the manager. First he tried directing me to a Lexus SUV (not the ES300). Then he directed me to the ES330. Seriously, if you're the manager, shouldn't you know what a Lexus ES more

Melody Toyota is good! 9/14/2009

I did not buy my car at Melody. But I do have my hybrid serviced here. Sometimes I just drive in and they take my car without an appointment which works get for me. The staff is friendly and very helpful. more

I have looked here in the past for used cars. They have a good selection but priced a little high for some things. They do come on strong at first to make that sale. more

Weird appraisal 8/29/2008

My only experience with Melody Toyota was when I hired them to evaluate a used Prius I hoped to buy from a craigslist ad. They gave the car a clean bill of health, and didn't mention the fact that it had been in an accident - which was pointed out to me, after I'd bought the car, by a Toyota mechanic near where I live. Once it was shown to me, the evidence of past damage from a crash was quite obvious. more

Excellent experience at Melody Toyota 10/24/2007

I had a very pleasant experience at Melody Toyota. Discussed all the information with Tommy Bunarjo. No haggling. Reached there and the Prius was ready for me. I am in and out of the dealership in 1 hour...How I wish all car dealers work the same. more

Excellent 10/8/2006

Melody Toyota is probably the oldest toyota dealer in San Bruno. (it's the only toyota dealer left) Excellent service and parts department is just as wonderful. Mike at the parts department takes care of us whenever we need anything for our toyota. They deliver parts too. more

Good service 5/18/2005

I like Melody Toyota for servicing my car. They are prompt and professional. I have been satisfied every visit I made. they are quick in diagnosing the problem, gives an accurate estimate of cost and does their job well. They seem to know what they are doing. Also, they follow up in a few days to find out if the problem has been resolved. they have a big waiting lounge, although barebones. more
