I went to the Brandon one to get some information and see what it was like there and in my head I was picturing this big nice school. The absolute opposite is what I got. It's crammed in there, I had to sit with the clients in the salon to wait for someone to talk to me, the students where complaining about how cheap the tools in the kit are right in front of me! Didn't get introduced to any of the teachers and they all stared at me like I was purple or something. On top of that while I was sitting down this poor older woman was getting her hair dyed and it was everywhere I know you're learning but come on if someone wanted that they could do it themselves!! Lets just say I deffinetly won't be going to school there and it's exspensive to top it all off! The advisor who I talked to however was extremely kind to me that's the only good thing I have to say I saw. Going to a different college instead, clean up your act MHA. more

When I enrolled in the school, I was told that you get a kit when you start school. At 200 hours, you will receive a second kit, books and more Mannequin heads. We are expected to do things on mannequins that require long hair. Being that we cut our initial Mannequin, we have to borrow someone elses. I am over 400 hours and have yet to see a second kit. I work on clients and have to borrow things from other students to get the job done. I am told," you have only been on the floor a month". The kits and books are on back order. Apparently from CHINA. The sheers that we are using on clients are the ones we used on the Mannequins. For thousand dollars, I expected more than what I am getting. I am buying my own supplies and I shouldn't have to do that. We are constantly running out of things at the school. Paper towels, shampoo etc. We just got 15 new students. What's going to happen when THEY hit 200 hours? I just don't get it!! more

Its pretty sad when you have to ask your instructor to teach you something in the curriculum with only two weeks left of class. It's pretty sad when the instructors cannot pronounce basic industry words. It's pretty sad that the school doesn't give you the tools & textbooks needed for your education. Its pretty sad when the instructor allows her know it all student to overrun the class with mindless BS while others are there to learn. It's pretty sad when you get treated like an outcast when you try to voice your opinions & concerns. It's a pretty sad school overall. I should be proud of my school, ecstatic about my graduation but instead I am frustrated & quite disappointed. more

I am a regular customer. I go in every 3 weeks for wax mustache and pedicure, I kept a record on my card of points. They told me that card no longer-points on computer. I knew I was close to points up to time for free service. I went in yesterday and asked how many more I had to go. They told me I had 0 points, I told them I knew better. They said computer must have dropped them off. I got cheated out of all my visits. Please go back to card so I can have it punched and not be cheated out of free services. I am appalled. Since you raised your rates I can go to licensed cosmetitian and pay same amount of money. This was a benefit but to get cheated out of something you promised it makes you think twice about coming back. Can I trust you?? I recently tried out the beauty school. I got the day of beauty which included a basic facial, maniucre, eyebrow waxing and haircut with blowdry for a bargain $29. Overall I was pleased with the services rendered. The facial was excellent and worth alot more than what I paid. The haircut went well but took too long. The whole thing took almost 4 hours. I was exhausted by the time I got home which almost defeats the purpose. If you try it I would reccommed going for just one service at a time because these are students and it will take time. more
