This is the ONLY vet I have used for my adopted dog and rescued cat. Yes it costs more at Lawrence Animal Hospital than at (shudder) Banfield etc however the peace of mind I have knowing that Dr. Weir is experienced, professional, competent, and that my ""kids"" are safe in his care is priceless. The only complaints I have are that Dr. Weir could be more nutrition-minded when treating his patients. He was medicating my dog for things that cleared up within weeks of changing her dog food to grainless (at the suggestion of a minimum-wage-paid pet store employee, no less.) Additionally Dr. Weir isn't exactly a ""warm fuzzy"" in terms of personality. I don't take it personally but it seems like something that could limit that essential client-doctor relationship.
I guess some are turned off by the kinda creepy-looking building, but don't judge that book by its cover :)
Pros: ONE Doctor
Cons: Didn't question nutrition-just medicated
