The biggest joke about the Laugh Factory is expecting customer service. The cashier will say anything to sell you a ticket (promising a certain comedian will perform). Then she wi...

The Laugh Factory is awesome! 10/9/2005

I went to the Laugh Factory for my 21st birthday and it was awesome! The waitresses were friendly and gorgeous, and Dane Cook even sang me HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! (He is SO hot!) My friends (who are comedy club regulars) loved it and said the Laugh Factory beats those "other" comedy clubs HANDS DOWN!!! I would DEFINITELY reccomend the Laugh Factory for a night on the town and a sure fire good time! more

FANTASTIC! 9/14/2005

Can I just say that I LOVE the Laugh Factory! I went on a Tuesday night and it was far better than I expected. The line to get in was kind of crazy, but once we were inside it was like stepping back in time to some crazy fun house. Once seated I looked up to see JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE sitting a few chairs away, and to my right was ASHLEE SIMPSON and RYAN CABRERA! That was just the beginning of the celebs! I was so exhausted from the excitment i almost forgot why i was there! But that was nothing compared to the show that night. It was HILARIOUS!! I haven't laughed that hard in my whole life. I am definitely planning to return, but next time I think I'll buy the VIP tickets so that I don't have to wait in that crazy line. Pros: great comedy, celeb sightings, cheap drinks Cons: long lines, parking more

LAUGH FACTORY IS A MUST! 9/14/2005

I just want everyone to know that this is the place to go. I been there just a couple of times and each time I went, I really enjoyed myself. I've went to watch a Friday show and ROBIN WILLIAMS dropped in. I also wanted to comment about VIP admission, it is soooo worth it, the last time I went I got to seat next to TOBEY MAGUIRE (he smells so good) : ) thanks for the laughs. See you soon! Pros: VIP admission, affordable, celebrity sightings Cons: valet, long lines more

Unsatisfied Customer! 9/13/2005

I was very excited to check this place out - went in with a good attitude and ready to laugh - but I left disgruntled, annoyed and cheated. Owner/manager is pure evil, talent is medicore and service (parking, drinks, will call - you name it) is non-existent. I don't know where to find good comedy in Los Angeles, but this place isn't it! I wouldn't go back if they paid me. And that's what they should do, considering I was the funniest person there - and I am not a comedian. Pros: seems cool Cons: is horrible more

The Best Place in Hollywood 9/13/2005

I went there on a Tuesday night and I had the best time in the world. The upstairs bar was amazing! The girls were amazing! I came in from Ohio and I was able to get past the door guy easy. I was rubbing elbow's with some of Hollywood's A-list Industry people. I am going back tonight for the Wednesday show! This club has a different vibe to it since the last time I came in. I think the comedy, drinks, and waitstaff might be the best I have ever seen in a comedy club. Pros: Comedy, Waitstaff, Inexpensive Cons: Too many celebrities more

Amazing night at the Laugh Factory 9/12/2005

I had given up on comedy clubs after a horrible experience at the Comedy Store but then some friends convinced me to go to Jay Davis' Tuesday 10pm show at the Laugh Factory. This show is HILARIOUS!!! I've been going for a month now and I got to see Pablo Francisco, Jon Lovitz, David Allen Grier and Dane Cook! It's so cool to see these amazing guys at the top of their game in such an intimate setting. A MUST in LA! Oh and it's the perfect place to go on a date ;) more

Saturday Night - 6 Out Of 7 Great Acts 7/24/2005

5 of 6 comics, plus the emcee, ranged from "very funny" to "bust-a-gut funny" -- not bad odds for a random Saturday! VIP tickets in advance are a must for your sanity, don't waste your time standing in line outside. And you can see the earlier show on the monitor. Seating process is ridiculously bad, 10 pm show took 45 minutes to seat, but whatever. Pros: funny acts, VIP a must Cons: seating process, SRO on balcony, standing in line more

This place is Great! 3/10/2005

If your looking for a good time, great entertainment, or just a fun place to go, then I recommend the Laugh Factory. Its a bit of a wait to get inside, but its worth it. The comics there range from up and comings to well known comedians. Definitely an experience to look forward to. Check it out for yourself. more

Definitely World Famous 2/24/2005

This place was really exciting. My friends and I heard about this place so we decided to give it a shot. Im glad we did, because we got to see Dane Cook perform. Then out of nowhere Chris Rock gets on stage and creates chaos among the crowd and puts on an amazing show. The weird thing was his name wasnt on the marquee. It was funny to see him rip in to Jessica Simpson and her husband. Apparently, they were there in the VIP section making out or something because it really pissed off Rock. To me that was the highlight of the night. Pros: Celebrities, Plenty of Laughs Cons: Parking more

Good Laugh 6/8/2004

this place is a great place to take a date or just go with friends. The comedians have you laughing from the first minute. The two minumum drink rule is not so bad. You can have two waters if you don't drink alcohol. But the jokes are much funnier when you are tipsy. I enjoyed myself to the fullest everysingle time I was there. It would be a joke not to go there. Pros: valet parking, comedians, comedians Cons: , long waiting line more

Big Laughs, Great Drinks 1/4/2004

I recently took some of my family members that were visiting from out of town to the sunday night show at the laught factory. We laughed until we couldnt laugh anymore. My uncle lives in Atlanta and he goes to several comedy shows a year but i've never seen him chuckle the way he did at the laugh factory. The wait to get inside was well worth it. My family complained about the two drink minimum until they had a drink. The drinks were great , the comedy was great, and most of all it did not cost me a arm and a leg to pay for my relatives. Pros: great drinks, great laughs, low prices Cons: want more more

The Best Comic Experience in LA 12/30/2003

When you first see the Laugh Factory, you don't know what to expect. But, once you get in there's a sense of closeness. The seating right by the stage creates a sense that you are part of the comedy. (which by the way is hilarious and will keep you laughing all the way home!) Even though there's a two drink minimum, its has one of the most inexpensive drink prices around Hollywood. Plus, when I went, I saw Cedric the Entertainer on one day and George Lopez the next time I came back. To me, its the best thing to do in LA. Pros: easy parking, good atmosphere, excellent comedians Cons: not long enough more

Laughs, for a price 4/1/2003

I saw Kathy Griffin's show and it was fantastic. But my back and other parts of my body paid the price. It's a small, small venue and they squeeze you in like sardines into rows of tiny, uncomfortable wooden chairs, with non-existent leg room. The waitresses are painfully slow, but that doesn't matter since the over-priced drinks are horrible. "Red" and "white" wine is undrinkable, sodas are flat and bottled water costs $4. And you have no choice--there's a two-drink minimum. But physical pain aside, at least you get to see great comic acts. Pros: Great comics Cons: horrible drinks, uncomfortable seating, two-drink minimum more

Best Night on the Town! 7/16/2002

I came with a group of friends to an early show on Friday night. We had just gotten out of work, and we needed a laugh. Although we hadn't heard of many of the comics, they were all very funny. Marty Belafsky was my favorite. Pros: great comedians, good energy, a wonderful time Cons: limited menu, crowded valet more

Oh, what a relief it was! 7/16/2002

Bad week at work, ridiculous commute in stinky traffic, relationship woes - all disappeared once I finally got to laugh my pants off at the Laugh Factory. No wonder they say Laughter is the Best Medicine. No other club holds a candle to Laugh Factory for presenting the best comedians night after night. And I would know, because I've gone three times over the past month. You go home feeling really, really good again! Pros: Great Value, top acts, good vibe Cons: tough parking more

Best Laughs Ever 6/12/2002

My boyfriend and I are big comedy fans. We went to the improv because the LA Times said Michael Richards from Seinfeld would be there, but he was not there eventhough his name was on the marquee. Not only was he not performing there, but we saw some of the worst comics in history. Not funny at all. Then we went to the Laugh Factory and happen to see Michael Richards perform there as well as some of the funniest comics in the world we have ever seen and were more funny than Michael Richards!!!! Pros: best atmosphere, best comics ever seen, best crowds Cons: valet takes too long, service not the best more
