Best Theater In Town!!! 3/13/2012

The Lagoon Rocks! Best Movies In Town!!!! Popcorn is great with real butter and all the great candy OMG!!!!!! Cool vibe in the place with the lights and big windows in the lobby... super sweet! I Love Uptown, just wish Landmark would open up a theater in St Paul Now!!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!! more

Lagoon adjusts to any situation 6/25/2004

We had tickets for a 5 pm showing of one of the 'big' movies. Lagoon's Time-Warner partner, Moviefone, oversold the show by many-many tickets. The Lagoon managment, Kim from Seattle specifically, took it in stride and was able to reorganize the showings, move a couple of showings to their sister site the Uptown and keep the patrons happy. I've been to many of the movies at both sites, and have always come away pleased. This time I was totally impressed. A true service company. Pros: Service top notch, Price, Best shows more

Other than the Oak Street and U-Film Society, the Lagoon is one of the only places to find a good or not so good ""art house"" film. more
