the customer from july 14th 2010 is not telling the truth. As the owner and 2nd generation craftsmen i wold never walk off a job no matter what happened . When you work on a project like this and you are dealing with people you learn how to coexist wiht the understanding that people make changes and you deal with it and go on. i have always tried my best to please my customers and our 48 years in business prove that. As projects progress you learn people love to talk especially when you are in there home and you learn alot about them in this case it was to late .Mental illness is hard and when you are locked out of a project because a person who has mental illness and is bipolar what do you do? Try to reason with them so you can finish there project ? but what do you do when there is mental illness ? Not much i was lucky to get my tools back and walk away with a loss of over $25000.00 how do you sue when you feel sorry for them ? YOU DON'T. Even though Tim of La pointe Plastic comes off as one of the nicest guys you ever met, beware. He strung us along for over a year after getting a $12,000 deposit. He walked off the job, leaving us without a kitchen, and we had to sue him. We have a judgement against him, but have not got a dime yet. Cons: we got riped off more

I contracted with Tim who is the owner and he was wonderful from the start .\r Every question i asked he answered honestly and he did not try to sell me more than i wanted .\r Also their were so many options for my reface of my kitchen cabinets that i was not aware of .\r He explained the process and unlike other cabint shops i called he explained that he does not skin the surface of the existing as that is only a breif bandaid and does not last rather he after completly measureing all the existing cabinet face frames removes the old and replaces with new wood i choose cherry wood,\r They even finished the interiors before they started putting it all back together .\r IT IS AMAZING AND IT WAS ALL DONE AS PROMISSED BOTH TIME AND MY BUDGET WHAT A TRUE CRAFTSMEN I BELIVE HIM THAT THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 46 YEARS.
