We were recently at a home and garden show and thought we were signing up for a great deal, turns out after being lied to numerous times by an "owner" that it was a timeshare. Our...

Kings Creek Plantation is a great get away. Close to Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg, the location cannot be beat. The property is clean, quiet, and the resort has a wonderful large aquatic center with work out facilities. Staff are pleasant and very accomodating. This is a time share community, so we had a one bedroom unt with mini kitchen and living room. We would stay here again. more

We have spent several long weekends at Kings Creek and have absolutely loved it. It is situated just a short drive (most within 15 mins) to all of the major Williamsburg/Jamestown/Bush Gardens/Water Country attractions and outlet and antique shopping. The accommodation was roomy, furnished tastefully and not shabby like some places we have previously stayed. Kitchen had all that we needed as we did cook (and bake) on a couple of days. There were several convenient pools, the indoor one was warm and we believe that there were activities and tennis courts - sadly neither of which we used. I gather that there is going to be a lazy river in the future, which will be a bonus for my kids. Overall very relaxing stay in super accommodation; we will definitely go back. more

We stayed in a two bedroom cottage and had a very enjoyable stay. It was like a regular house rather than a hotel. These are separate houses in a village configuration. The house was very clean and furnished with a lot of quality towels in the bathrooms. Each bedroom has TV and a private bathroom. The bedrooms are upstairs which was not a problem for us.The furniture was clean and the unit had attractive decorations. There was a full kitchen and dining room. The units are well maintained. There is a great indoor pool and fitness center as well as outdoor pools and playgrounds. Each cottage has a grill outside. The location is excellent with a lot of shopping nearby and excellent highways. We look forward to staying again. more

This is a great place to visit with family. So, looking forward to our second visit. We found Kings Creek Resort to be one of the most friendly and nicest resort we've visited. Great location near shops, restaurants, and theme parks. We hope our in-laws will enjoy coming with us this visit. more

Let me start by saying Kings Creek Resort is one the BEST RESORT! I ever stayed in. Trust me my wife and I stayed in a many in our time. I am not just saying this because I am a member, years before we became members we visited other resorts from the east coast to the west coast and found Kings Creek Resort to be one of the most friendly and nicest resort we've visited. We were there Nov. 28, 2013 to Dec. 1, 2013. My Mother planned the entire event. We stayed in The Townes and WOW! we had the whole unit A & B up and down. We only had one minor problem which was resolved. Everybody and had great time and everything was near by etc. shops, resturants, and them parks. We had plenty of room for everyone. My children and grand-kids, my brothers and sister and their family. My family did not want to leave so I promise them we will return on the 21st of December in about 3 weeks from now. The bed rooms, the living room, and kitchen, all was satisfying, like a home away from home. If you ever have that opportunity go I am sure you will agree.\r Thanks Kings Creek Plantation Resort for making our time there memberable!! more

I finally fond a salon with stylists who know what they are doing. My hair look beautiful, my friends have complimented my highlights over and over. I was treated to coffee and cookies several times. The staff is so friendly, I didn't want to leave. A professional salon from start to finish! more

My mom and I stayed there for 5 nights. She uses a walker and was able to walk around the entire complex including the bathrooms easily. We used the indoor and outdoor pools. The bed linens and towels were especially clean. The fireplace was lovely and rooms comfortable. Will stay again. more

I'm a frequent flyer at Kings Creek. I would never stay any where else in Williamsburg. My mother and sisters and and brother in law stayed with us on this visit. It's an overall feeling of ""cozy and warm"", especially with the fireplace. We went shopping at the outlets while the men went golfing. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped to prepare meals for my family. Target is convenient for any food items now. I must admit, overall I love the jet tubs the most, so I can pamper myself, so take your favorite bath salts with you. Enjoy!! more

King’s Creek Plantation is located one mile from I-64, and is very easy to locate. King’s Creek Plantation is a development of modern “colonial homes” with all the comforts of the 21st century. King’s Creek Plantation has taken care to replicate the smaller homes of Colonial Williamsburg with fire places, several porches, in-unit washers and dryers. Using OnStar GPS, all Williamsburg attractions are minutes away.\r \r We own five Marriott weeks, and are fans of Westin and Hyatt. King’s Creek Plantation offers very similar quality to all three of these properties, and King’s Creek Plantation cottages are extremely pleasant. Actually, a professional decorator given a minimum budget might work wonders with this property.\r \r King’s Creek Plantation cottages may be larger than the Marriott, Westin and Hyatt properties. King’s Creek Plantation cottages are nicely decorated, and insist of a three-bedroom cottage. The three-bedroom cottage offers two decks, and a front porch. In addition the lockoff unit really is a nicely equipped condo with a full kitchen and independent A/C. The lockoff also has a built in washer and dryer as does the master condo.\r \r expect to enjoy a first rate Williamsburg Holiday. We recommend highly the King’s Creek Plantation cottages. more

My husband and I are owners at King's Creek and thoroughly enjoyed our recent week's vacation. We stayed in a recently upgraded three bedroom cottage and enjoyed the benefits of new carpet, furniture and pillowtop mattresses. Check-in was a breeze this time and when asked to schedule an owner's update meeting we notified the staff we were not looking to upgrade or change our contract. In previous visits we've endured three and four hour presentations, but this time we remained firm and the salesman was very gracious and accepted the fact that we had no intentions of upgrading. Our preschooler daughter loved the pool area and playground, and we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch sitting in the rocking chairs. This was our fourth trip to Kings Creek and the best one yet! more

We stayed in a 1 bed/1 bath in the Estates section. All of the amenities of the unit were very nice and new-looking. Granite countertops in the kitchen, bathtub with jets in the bedroom, washer/dryer. It really had everything. The floorplan was a little strange, though, because you enter the unit in the living room. If you keep walking straight, there is the galley kitchen. Keep walking straight and you're in the bedroom. Turn left (the floorplan is a big circle around the unit) and left again, and you walk into the bathroom/laundry. Keep walking and you've entered the living room on the other side where you started. There are no hallways between rooms, just doorways. They amnaged to fit everything into a tight little box of a floorplan, so you won't want for anything, just maybe notice that the floorplan is a little strange. It looks like there are a lot of units there. We really didn't have time to check out anything about the resort as we were doing things during the day. more

My sister, nephews (8 years and 6 years) and myself just returned from King's Creek Plantation and we had a wonderful stay. We were in 8207-A which was a cottage. Each cottage had an A and B section. There are 2 parking spaces per cottage. Each cul de sac has a grill outdoors at your leisure. Full kitchen, dining room with seating area and 42"" flat screen tv, and 1/2 bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs had a master bedroom with a full bath and flat screen and another nice size bedroom with two twin beds and a full bathroom. My sister checked in early and I followed a few days later. She said check-in was quick. The boys played basketball and went swimming in the indoor pool, which they loved. The location is literally next door to the water park. The accessibility is great, Target, Dick's are near by. Busch Gardens is less than 10 minutes away. Last but not least, the Premium Outlet at Williamsburg is approximately 15 minutes away. Awesome! We purchased season passes at Busch Gardens because we plan to visit at 2 more times this year. Great stay and looking forward to returning. more

I love how people say they love the product but don't understand why a sales person asked them to buy. I ll admit I didn't come to buy anything and me and my wife talked about saying No before the tour. Everyone does that. But If no one ever bought it kings creek would be out of business. Fact is I was sick of hotel rooms and not having any space on my vacation. I know everyone that leaves a review should say don't buy! But if no one ever did and resorts went out of business we would have to pay for our own tickets to Bush Gardens! Lol. I settled on a 9900 package and me and my wife are happy with it, the rep and the resort. Yea I ve seen resales but they don't come with the benefits the resort itself offers. if you spend 700 - 1000 a year in a hotel then a Resort would be an upgrade. Hate if you want to but I m going on vacation with Interval and Kings Creek. more
