We went to Kelly's Closet for my daughter's first time to try on wedding dresses. We were the first appointment and were welcomed with bright smiles by several of the sales girls. Our consultant, Laurie, sat down with us and got the details of the wedding, i.e. venue, dates, etc. She invited us to select dresses that caught our eye and she'd suggest a few too. My daughter tried on 7 or 8 gowns and liked 4, but each one had a little something that she would like to change. Laurie was helpful in letting us see how the gown would look with the changes. We had four other appointments that day after Kelly's so my daughter wanted to see what else was out there. Laurie wished is luck and said that she would check back with us in a couple of weeks to see if we found anything. We went to the other four appointments, but the service and attention we felt at Kelly's had made our expectations so high that the experience for the rest of the day was disappointing. We went to the larger ""Kleinfeld's"" type stores (which was impressive, but you knew they had to have a huge mark-up on their dresses to pay for the plush) and also small boutiques but none compared to Kelly's Closet. After the last appointment, my daughter said ""I really want to go back to Kelly's"". I called and even though we would only have 30 minutes before they were to close, they invited us to come back. When we got there, Laurie had the four dresses in the dressing room and was ready for us! She never rushed us, due to closing time, and apologized for the bad experiences we had at other salons! When my daughter put on the ""one"" she yelled...this is it!!! Thank you Kelly's Closet for making my only child's wedding dress shopping so much fun!!! Oh, and I love the cute area your shop is in...enjoyed coffee at the Tea Room before our appointment.
Pros: Great staff, no-pressure
