Jines has amazing food, my friends and I come here at least twice a month. Its a great place to hangout and have a meal, I've tried everything on the menu and almost every special...they're all delicious. I bring all my out-of-towner friends here! more

I moved to Rochester in the early 70's and heard about Jines through the grapevine. This restaurant has been part of the fabric of my life for over 40 years now. They're well known in the area and for good reason. It feels like home when I walk in and they have the best fish fry, chicken romano is my second favorite. Kristin is great! more

Been coming to Jines for years 12/13/2011

Jines: The food was fantastic, we had the steak and roast beef and I ended up trying both (thankfully because the both were so good!). We got great service (waitress would be right there to check on us right when we needed her), and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. Overall, very good choice if you're looking for a nice spot to eat in Rochester. -CV- more

One of my favorites for years 9/15/2011

Jines has been one of my favorite restaurants for years and years. I love the outdoor dining option (especially in the summer) and of course the food. Last time I was in I had the chicken oscar, and it was delicious. Jines is a wonderful place to eat, and I definitely recommned them to anyone in Rochester. - Kathi more

Good Food, Good Service 4/19/2011

My last experience at Jines was great. I went with a couple of my friends and the food and service was good and everyone was very friendly! They have delicious omelettes and waffles. Their french onion soup is also one of my favorites! - Erin F. more

Great Place to Eat Breakfast 11/12/2008

I cant stop coming back for breakfast at Jines. They have so much on their breakfast menu its crazy. The menu includes tons of omelets, egg dishes, different types of pancakes and waffles, different variations of eggs Benedict, and my favorite: Banana Bread French Toast. Its a great place to wake up! You can dress very casual. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. As far as lunch and dinner goes, it is also quality food. Try the fried zucchini appetizer its delicious! Pros: breakfast menu Cons: on weekend mornings there might be a 15 min wait more

Jines is as solid as it gets. Good service, always attentive, food is of a nice variety, although I wish they had some more healthy options on the menu for people with dietary restrictions. Cheap, reliable, and consistent. Pros: consistently good food and service Cons: can be a wait on weekends more

You can't beat it 1/13/2007

This place is both upscale and cozy, with charming service and a great location. In the heart of lively Park Avenue, this is a tradition for weekend brunch for many Rochestarians. You can sit inside or outside and people watch. The interior's pastel colors are kind of 90's-ish, but the decor is subdued and clean. The food rates good to excellent, depending on the dish you get. Their french toast, corned beef hash and eggs are great. They do serve lunch and dinner, so I think of it as an upscale diner. The prices are moderate, though. Pros: Food quality, menu breadth, location Cons: Wait 10-30 minutes for weekend brunch more
