I was reluctant to try out a new hairdresser after 8 years with the same one, but I needed a change. I was told by the receptionist that Aicha works magic with long wavy hair and she was right! Aicha made me feel confident that I would love my new cut by spending a few minutes talking about my hair texture and styling habits before she started cutting. She gave me the best cut I've ever had that makes the most of my natural curl. I've never received so many compliments, and I find that my hair is easier than ever to style. You have to visit this studio! Leo cut my hair, and it is amazing! I got a massaging shampoo, and a great hair cut! After you get your hair cut, they rinse you out so you don't have to worry about having hairs all over your face for the rest of the day! I got all of thsi for $40.00!!! You can't beat it! After several haircuts with several different salons I finally found a home in JJ Studio. I almost gave up on the idea of finding someone who could cut my hair until I found Michelle. From the moment I sat in her chair during her consultation, I knew I would love the results. I was amazed with all of the creative ideas she had for my hair. In the end my hair looked modern and ingenious. I was amazed with how innovative she was and how I felt like I had a combination of haircuts all thrown into one. My friends loved it and I've had compliments from random people as well. I'm so excited I've finally found a stylist in Michelle and I can't wait for my next visit. A friend recommended the James Joseph Studio to me. I was unsure about what I wanted to do with my unruly hair and I needed someone with expertise to give me some advice and guidance. Boy did I get it and a whole lot more. Michael Perry was a dream!! He cut with such passion and would flick the scissors around like they were extensions of his fingers. He gave me the best haircut that I have ever had. I also have to mention how stylish and handsome he is. Its worth sitting in his chair just to stare at his bulging biceps and deep brown eyes. Some may say that this is a good place because it is cheaper than other salons on Newbury Street, I think this is a great place because of the haircuts given. After each cut (I've gone 3 times to Natalia), my hair looks amazing, the cut is exactly what I wanted and my husband says WOW! I had been going to the same stylist for over 15 years and desperately needed a change, but was hesitant because I wanted to find someone who I could trust. It took me a while, I tried a few stylists outside of Boston, but stopped looking when I found CRISTINA! She did an amazing job and I love my hair for the first time in YEARS! The cut is perfect, the color amazing. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a modern or classic style...The salon itself is great...prices are VERY reasonable. I am so happy! It is worth the trip in from the suburbs!!! more
