Jackson Smile Studio

I have been going to Dr. Jackson for more than 15 years. He and his staff always took great care of my dental needs. For several years I didn't have insurance so I just didn't go. I ended up having a dental emergency recently and saw another dentist out of convenience, WORST MISTAKE!! I then made an appointment to see him, they got me in ASAP. His staff are the most caring and compassionate people. Nicole and Wendy have always taken care of mine and my family's needs. He came to my rescue when it came to my pain. Turned out that I had a cracked tooth. I told them I knew I wouldn't be able to afford anything but an extraction. They explained all the cons about having it pulled at my age. They worked with me and I was able to afford the crown that he wanted to do. Turned out that I didn't need a root canal, AMEN. I was nervous about having my gums poked with needles because I never had it done before but they used this amazing spray that numbed everything then used the injections. I was able to watch TV while Wendy and Dr. Jackson worked on me. He explained why everything happened and what to do about it. He is able to cut crowns on site. Since then I have had NO pain what so ever. He is a wonderful doctor and has the best staff. I don't trust my teeth with anyone else. He's come a long way with technology, seeing as how he used to have a very small office on Harbison when I was growing up. I can't thank him enough! more

Jackson Smile Studio is an impressive experience. The facility is state-of-the-art and feels more like a New York City condo than a white walled institution. On the new-patient registration form, I was asked if going to the dentist made me nervous. I was able to furtively express my feelings of anxiety, which put me at ease. The two pretty ladies at the reception desk were kind and attentive. I believe their names were Stacey and Nicole. My teeth cleaning was done by a dental hygienist by the name of Carol. This is the most professional dentist's office I have ever been to! Their methods were thorough and state of the art, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very private, and the waiting room was large and comfortable, complete with drinks and snacks. I have found my dentist for the duration of my time in Columbia! more
