NEVER, EVER, EVER dealt with a company as bad as hugesnet. EVERYTHING they do is subbed out to India/Pakistan who cares-you will speak to someone who CANNOT SPEAK FOCKING ENGLISH. They cannot help you, understand you, assist you nor do they care one bit. The pis me off everytime I have to deal with them. It takes HOURS. Yes hours because of their inability to understand english. And this company is the compay they hire for their installs. They are nearly as bad. God bless you if you have to deal with Huges and Insight....and get a drink. more

I had to go through this company to have my satelight internet installed and they were terrible. I was rescheduled three times and the third time they said they might make it out to my house the next day. When I called to ask questions about an extra charge to run wires under the house the person who answered the phone yawned like they didn't care about me or my problem. I was told I was wrong and they always inform their customers of extra charges when the customer calls to set up service however when I told them I didn't call they said then the person who called me told me they charge extra to run wires. Funny I thought you had to run wires to install a satellight. I was told their was an extra charge If I didn't want to run the wires myself I said that option was not even offered. I finally got fed up in frustration and hung up. If you must go through them then I hope you don't have to call them later with any questions. more

Competence & Professionalism is at an ALL time low here. Just call and you?ll see. Having worked for these AMATEUR?S in the past, I can say, with confidence, that this Mom & Pop shop has NO idea how to professionally run their business. Believe me, you the customers are NOT their main concern. To me, that?s kind of funny, considering their in the, Installation & customer Service business. The office attitude here is "Hurts to be you? (to the customer) The only reason there still in business is that Tommy Rice (The Owner) happened upon locking down a deal with Perfect 10, that makes him the only Authorized Fulfillment company ALLOWED to install HughesNet system for 100 mile radius. It appeared to me that George (Tommy?s Brother) doesn?t have much of an education because he is in charge of Tech Support, Quality Control, Training, and Inventory mgt. Bless his heart, he tries. Where else could he make that kind of money? Tommy?s father Buddy (Tommy & Georges Father) handles pay related issues I think? Buddy can?t count pass TEN without taking his shoes off & then he?s limited to just twenty digits. Some advice Buddy, retire or at least go get stronger eye glass prescription please. If was a part time job just keeping track of the Billing & Equipment errors these two employees created. Well, I could go on & on & on but I think you get the picture. All is not lost though, there are or were a handful of technicians that truly care about the customer, despite the Office antics. Hopefully you?ll get one of them?. more

william brooks with insight satellite installed my wildblue internet service on 1/10/08. i had been assured by direct tv on 12/28/07 that the $393.85 that i paid them by credit card was absolutely all it would cost me for the equipment and complete installation for wildblue to be operating properly.$179.95 was for complete installation.mr brooks walked behind my d/w mobile home and said he was going to put a pole there and proceded placing the pole in ground and placed the dish on the pole ;ran a cable across my driveway ;under the home; drilled TWO HOLES in the floor about 1 foot apart ; damaged my carpet by allowing strands of carpet wrap around drill and pulling large strands of the carpet out .ran the cable through the other hole that he drilled in my floor. it was raining that day and he had red mud all over his shoes and tracked it throughout my home. when he started back into my home again i stopped him and told him he was not coming back in to my home with the mud on his shoes. he removed his shoes. he had everything hooked up except modem when he asked me if i would be paying him cash or check. i told him i had already paid for total installation but he said no i still owe him another$215. i paid him the $215. after i told him that this is not right. the computer lost internet connection about 3 hrs after he left and has been on and off every since then.WB GOT MR BROOKS back to my home a few weeks later and he said that nothing was wrong.he would not look at the DIAGNOSTIC REPORT THAT I PRINTED FROM MY COMPUTER. HE SAID AS FAR AS HE WAS CONCERNED IT DID NOT COME FROM MY COMPUTER AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG.I TOLD HIM THE BEST THING FOR HIM TO DO WAS GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE. I have been paying WB $69.95 a month since it was installed for something that works less than FIFTY PER CENT OF THE TIME; NEVER WORKS IN RAIN. STAY AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES THEY ARE JUST A SCAM OPERATION AND WILL ROB YOU BLIND more
